Although this is a small place .. this was a great place. Staff was very informative and friendly. Even my son learned so much from them.

It is small, only one restroom and the shark tank was probably too full for the number of sharks they had swimming around. We were there in August, so it was hot and sticky-not much air flow through the building. I liked it because it wasn't too 'touristy'. Plan to spend an hour at most.

This is a historic aquarium so it is on the small side. The touch tank, stingrays, and sharks were all very interesting to see. The whole place could use a fresh coat of paint though, some of the informational sighs were getting hard to read due to age. One thing I really liked was that they had several guided tours... More

Bit pricey for what you get as so many aquariums built today are much larger, newer and more interactive. I'd wait for the tour.

It is a nice aquarium for the whole family. From small fish to big sharks and a tank you can pick up star fish and other sea creatures. The kids loved it. Its not a big place but you can spend 1/2 hr to 45 minutes inside and out, easy. It is well worth the price of admission. You can... More

I was 21 when I first visited this aquarium. I then visited again when I was 23. I found it to be informational, amazing & just a unique experience. I think the first thing to note is that they are concerned with education & the animals safety. As an animal lover that means a lot to me. Also I think... More

The kids were excited about this mainly because they would get to feed the sharks. As it turned out, we couldn't hear the guide on her microphone and and missed the beginning even though we were there on time and waiting close to the area it started. The mic wasn't loud enough..it was hard to hear all the interesting information... More

Thanks for taking the time to review your visit to the Key West Aquarium. Please accept my apologies for the poor acoustics you encountered and know that I will follow up with our tour guides to get this corrected. We do not have any flamingos at our facility. The flamingos can be found at another wonderful Key West attraction, the... More

The kids enjoyed the aquarium. We arrived as the feedings were starting and they were able to feed the sharks and barracuda! The touch tank is great as well and the place had a variety of species. It is not air conditioned inside so it gets a little hot at times.

I was glad to read your family enjoyed your visit to the Key West Aquarium. In addition to our Touch Tank we also have guided tours/feedings throughout the day where guests can pet a live shark and Stingray Bay, where guest can feed and pet stingrays. More

Small aquarium with lots of local fish. This is an outdoor attraction right on the water. Not necessarily a must do, but if you're into fish at all, the touch tank and shark feeding is pretty cool.

This aquarium is on the small side, so don't expect to spend all day there. It is nice change of pace, and entertaining for the kids. The touch tanks are fun. When we went we joined a "tour" already in process. There is a tour guide that explains a lot of the exhibits. Be sure to time your visit for... More
