Didn't cost much for me and my two kids, maybe $30. Plus they gave us that date and the next day for admission as well. Got to see a shark feeding. Great touch-tank. Kids loved picking up starfish, horseshoe crabs, sea cucumbers, sand dollars, etc. Also got to touch rays, very cool. Lots of good tanks. Saw alligators, lots of... More

This a fun little aquarium for little kids. A good way to get out of the hustle of Duval and let your kids run and touch most everything.

small aquarium but interesting nonetheless....has some great history behind the building and that alone makes it interetsting to see. there are not a lot of exhibits like a big city aquarium but this is key west and everything seems tailored towards the fish and animals that are down there and local. this is a stop especially if you have small... Looks like the place is partially under renovation, which is good because the place is a little run down and needs some sprucing up. Still not a bad place to take the kids for a quick look. Takes a maximum of 1 hour, and that is pushing it. The shark feeding was the best.

This is one of my favorite parts about visiting Key West. It’s a small aquarium that excels in maintaining a solid balance between education and preservation of native species as well as featuring exciting exhibits. The majority of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and patient in answering questions as well as ensuring you have an interactive experience. The site also... More

If you read other reviews, you'll find this aquarium to be small and run-down with a pricey entrance fee. I'll not argue with those assertions as they're somewhat accurate. Still, we managed to enjoy ourselves. Our 14-year-old liked it; five years ago he would have loved it. The Atlantic Shores exhibit was nicely done.

This is a must see for families. We combined our ticket with the ship wreck museum. We enjoyed both and would recommend both.

The touch tank is fun but the aquarium is pretty small. The shark feeding was disappointing. Couldn't see much and the sharks were not interested in eating.

I paid $ 30.00 only to experience a one story 5 min walk through. I was very disappointed in the aquarium. I have visited several aquariums throughout Florida and this was the first time I went into an aquarium and stated that it was the worst aquarium experience ever! I was informed at the admission gate that I could return... More

I was sorry to read that your tour with us did not meet your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our aquarium content is restricted to species of fish indigenous to the Florida Keys only. We are constantly adding to and updating our exhibits, freshening paint and decor where possible. However, we are a historic... More
