We had a great time in this old but well kept aquarium. You have two pools inside , one full of sting rays and the other with nurse sharks. Outside you can feed the sting rays with your own hands and in another feed the fish and sharks. I definitely will come back with my children. The ticket price is... More

This is a nice aquarium, however the touch tank is unsupervised which means there are tourists and children constantly hurting and mishandling the sea creatures. I saw several different kids picking up sea urchins by their spines, or squeezing/throwing the sea cucumbers while their parents ignored them or snapped pictures. If you're going to let people poke and prod the... More

We had some time to spend in Key West before getting our bus back to Ft Lauderdale so we decided to go to the aquarium. It was small but we had a good time.

We visited the aquarium in Key West on our last afternoon while we waited for sunset. They have a nice assortment of marine life, and the opportunity for some touch and feel experiences. Great for kids wanting to get up close and personal with marine life.

This was the highlight at the end of our Conch Train Tour. A great little place to see up and close sea creatures native to the area .

This aquarium is small but it offered many things not found in some other aquariums. They have up close shark tank and alligators with tanks out back with turtles and sting rays.

I got to feed the stingrays! There were a lot of children, old and young, who were enjoying the exhibits, the demonstrations, and just all of the amazing animals who live there. Staff was friendly. It's a good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Interesting aquarium to see the sharks in open tanks, not behind glass in so many others. The turtles have a home for life after being damaged by boats and other animals, one had been removed and put in a heated tank inside as the weather had turned very cold. Older attraction but clean. Docent gave a very good informative talk... More

Don't expect Jaws, but guides are very well informed and I loved the fact that they allowed visitors to help feed the nurse sharks. The historical value of this aquarium makes it a must see for visitors too.

This would have been especially enjoyable with kids as they were allowed to feed the sharks and other activities. There are both inside and outside areas. Comparatively small, I enjoyed the experience.
