I have lived in Key West all of my life and have visited the Key West Aquarium on MANY occasions. I love this aquarium. The employees are always pleasant and knowledgeable and the fish always look great. I love all of the changes they have happened in the last year and look forward to visiting many more times. Keep up... More

I know the sea life in aquariums are usually displaced or have some other reason why they can't be in the wild, but this particular aquarium really felt sad to me. First of all, I'm not sure how I feel about the touch tank because there were many children reaching in and grabbing hermit crabs and conch without supervision, and... More

I would like to thank you for your feedback as we take much consideration for what our guests have to say. In reference to the touch tank, it has been in our up most interest how people interact with these animals, especially with unsupervised children. We are actually putting into place a program where by our employees will monitor and... More

I've been twice. Really enjoyed all the open areas that display the sharks, stingrays, biggest grouper you will EVER see, turtles, and other sea life. They have a small interactive tank where the littles can hold shells ad sea cucumbers. They also have a free tour where the staff tells you all about the specimens they have there. I got... More

First off, if you are looking for Sea World or some crazy, technological experience stop right here. This place is a living piece of history and you feel like you have gone back in time. They seem to be updating the exhibits to be more eyecatching but the building has been left as it was in the 1930's and is... More

This is a lovely, vintage, open air aquarium located in the heart of Key West. I have been taking my kids there since they were little. There are plenty of sea creatures for the younger kids to touch and explore in the touch pool. The stingrays are not to be missed! Their antics, such as slapping the surface of the... More

This is THE location you NEED to go to when at Key West with toddlers/young children. Our daughter loved the entrance touch and hold pool, the large aquarium outside, she got to feed fish and stingrays. It is small but it is THE perfect size for young families. More

...for what it is, we REALLY liked this place! I DO tend to prefer vintage Volkswagens over new Escalades, so that might help you to understand how I could have found a very old and tiny aquarium to be so wonderful! :-) It takes you right back in time to when zoos and aquariums were not massive themeparks that revolve... Filled with interesting sea life, my husband and I had a enjoyable time viewing all the separate exhibits and going on the tour. High-lights include watching the feeding of the sea turtles, manta rays and sharks. Being able to actully touch a live baby shark was a rare and unexpected experience. Got some great photos so plan to bring a... More

The aquarium is small and a bit overpriced but isn't everything in a resort town? It was great for the kids. Get there 15 minutes before a tour. They will ask for volunteers to help feed some of the sharks and other fish. My kids were able to do it and they had a blast. Nice touch tank too! More

Not your major city aquarium, but filled with great habitats. Kids and parents will be happy they stepped inside. Bring your camera. This is right downtown, go early or very late to avoid crowds. Call ahead for hours. More
