We had travelled from England with the Dophin trip organised before we left so I was so excited. We were not disappointed, Captain John certainly knew where to find the dolphins and we saw several groups swimming leisurely near the boat, not at all phased by us being close to them in the water. John then took us to the... more

After reading the reviews here we drove from Islamorada to Key West to do this trip. We phoned a couple of times to check on the weather as we were only doing this once and wanted to make the most of it. John was very helpful and advised us to wait til the following afternoon when the forcast was better... more

We spent an afternoon with Captain John on the Dolphin Watch and all agreed it was the best day of our 3 weeks in Florida (and we had been to all the parks) Our kids aged 16,14 and 6 were mesmerised and our youngest who is normally shy was reeling off questions for Captain John. We saw lots of Dolphins... more

We had the pleasure with Captain John (CJ) last year for one week / six hours a day. CJ is a cool and smart type, sure, but the much better thing is, he's a part of the environment there, maybe he's a little bit a dolphin too. ;-) He'll find them nearly every day! AND to meet dolphins, to see... more

I was on a 4 hours dolphinencounter-tour with captain John. He saw all the dolphins and even a sharkwhale and brought us in the near of them! The dolphins came closer to our boat so we could take great pictures. It was a fascinating experience I will never forget! more

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with "dolphin" John. Our eleven year old daughter Lara especially liked the way many dolphins came to "check us out" when we were swimming and also the snorkling at the reef. Captain John is a great guy who's a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about dolphins and marine life in general. Highly recommended more

Your not going to find a guide who knows more or who is more passionate about dolphins then Captain John. My family joined him for a four hour tour :) last weekend and it was the highlight of our stay in Key West. No only did we have the opportunity to enjoy the many dolphins that seem to flock to... more

Captain John is fantastic! My boyfriend and I were scheduled with another charter captain who had boat trouble. All the dolphin boats have a sort of co-op, so they arranged for Captian John to step in - we didn't have to do a thing! He took us out and we found a group of dolphins in less than ten minutes.... more

Our experience with the dolphin tour was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend this activity. Captain John was very friendly and knowledgable, and really made us feel at home on the boat. The boat itself was very comfortable and I took so many great photos. I will never forget watching the dolphins swim and play around our boat. This experience was... more
