Beautiful house and garden, our guide was fantastic and a really genuine local character. Short walk from Duvall St. Arrive early (opens 9am) as it gets VERY busy! More

Beautiful Home, Loved the Cats, Wonderful gift shop. Enjoyed some of the tidbits I heard from the guided tour though we didn't actually join the whole tour. Great place to visit. More

This house comes with a lot of History. The tour guide was well versed on this. Also you can see the famous 6 toes cats that are around the property. Even though I am not a big Hemingway fan; the house is full of history. The property is well kept and many wedding take place here every year. Just remember... More

It was very interesting to see Hemingway's one-time home and hear his story from a very entertaining guide. The six-toed cats are a main attraction. More

We did this tour last minute and Im glad we did. It made for a relaxing afternoon at a beautiful property. The tour was great and very informative as we didn't know much about the family. Loved the penny story! The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. After the 30min tour we walked around the grounds and petted the cats.... More

Both my wife and I are not avid fans of Hemingway, but we of course know who he is. Went here and it was nice to see the property in what one would have expected it to look like in the early 20th century. Nicely appointed but modest, and a very large property at that. We did not follow along... More

To be honest I wasn't expecting much, because I didn't know a lot about Hemingway. But I learned about, and the guided tour is a MUST. You pay the same price whether you walk the grounds by yourself or if you go in the tour group. Once the tour group is finished, you can go back and look at everything... More
