Delightful tour guide, keeps a few cats nearby with little treats. Kept us fascinated with wonderful stories of Hemingway and his time there.

The visit to this house was definitely a highlight because of the excellent tour guide (Chris) who took us room by room through the house detailing the life of Hemingway and his four wives. The house itself is quite interesting, especially the use of iron to support the walk around balconies. There are some very interesting furniture pieces and photographs... More

I've lived here for twenty-five years and have visited the Hemingway House I don't know how many times. My son and I go almost every time he visits. It's a beautiful old house that captures the essence of when Hemingway and his wife Pilar lived there and of course there are the adorable six toed cats that have the run... More

This is a stop you have to make while in Key West. The house is really neat and the history behind it is amazing. Our guide looked just like Hemingway and that was a highlight for me. LOL Very interesting tour. Loved it!

We went on the organized shore excursion titled Hemingway Home & Sloppy Joe’s from the Norwegian Pearl. The cost was $39.00 each. We were expecting to be brought directly to the Hemingway Home. Instead, the tour guide informed us that there would be a walk for 1¼ hours and cover over a mile. Since I’d pulled a tendon in my... More

We've been here before when we first visited Key West a number of years ago. Definitely worth the visit! We loved hearing about the history from the guide, seeing the cats, and walking the grounds. Everyone should stop in here at least once if they are going to Key West. Hemingway was such a big part of Key West! Wonderful!

Tour guides are fantastic and have lots of interesting facts. The cats are everywhere which is just so cool to see. The house is full of rare photos and interesting features. The little gift shop is filled with items that you won't find on Duval. Furniture in the house is just amazing. Definitely worth the admission to see this piece... More

We enjoyed the house tour and beautiful grounds to learn about Hemingway's Key West experiences. The cats & landscaping make this a 'must see' place also.

Hemingway house was gorgeous and learning more of the personal history of the house & family was interesting! We didn't want to wait 15 minutes for a tour (included in admission) and the groups were pretty large (20 or so people). (We would have liked to see more written information on the walls) The pool is GORGEOUS! Wish we could... More
