You don't have to be a reader to enjoy the tour and the history of the Hemingway Home. The history of the house was very interesting and something that I had never heard before. I also had never heard where the cats came from. Seeing the house, the grounds and learning some history made this tour well worth the time... More

House on the seaside was once the home of the great author who wrote " the Old Man and the Sea" and the location for " License to Kill " about fifty year's after his death. Now it's a historic landmark for every visitor of Key West. Many of his cats continue to live on the premises situated at one... More

Not being an avid reader I was doubtful I would enjoy this tour, but Chris (the tour guide) threw himself into his presentation and made EH's life come alive within this beautiful building.

We had a wonderful tour of the home and grounds narrated by Chris - a dedicated fanboy of Hemingway. His enthusiasm was contagious (even in the sweltering heat and humidity). In addition to his unparalleled knowledge of the subject, knowing the names of all the cats on the property was really neat. I know, I know, how did we know... More

As a huge Hemingway fan, this has been on my list for a long time and I was not disappointed! From the photos, to the knowledgeable guides, to just knowing you are in Hemingway's home- a must visit. My wife, who is not a Hemingway fan enjoyed the tour immensely as well!

A real taste of Key West. Such an interesting story told by the house tour leader. Hemingway lead an exciting life. The house is beautiful and one gets a real feel what it must have been like living there. Well worth your time.

I am so glad we took this tour,it was amazing to learn about the structure of the house, his basement with 16 ft ceilings, all the many cats that still live here. I am sure he as long as his cats roamed the house he would also! The guides they have are very knowledgable you could tell it was a labor... More
