The tales of the Hemmingway house are tall and bold. There are pics, 6 toed cats and an unbalanced brick wall surrounding the home! Amazing that most of his writings were accomplished in such a short period of sobriety!

We visited in Oct 2014. I was surprised that I enjoyed this trip as much as i did. Hemingway led an adventurous life. It was cool to see the house and furnishings that are present. I found the swimming pool history very interesting.

As a result of this visit I am now reading one of Hemmingway's books. I would recommend a visit to anyone going to Key West.
