Loved the cats and the history. We had an excellent tour guide named Stan who was very knowledgeable about Key West and the Hemmingway history. Very enjoyable.

Great tour, very interesting to learn about this author. Great old house. The cats were a highlight for us, especially the three toed one. Neat to hear the story about the penny near the pool.
Tour was not too long for my 15 year old to enjoy as well as I did, and the guide did an excellent job. My daughter especially enjoyed all of the cats!
Thank you for your review. We are glad you and your children enjoyed the tour.

I am glad I paid for this tour. It supported a great part of both Key West and American histories. The house, pool and surrounding properties were maintained close to their original condition from Hemingway's days and gave a glimpse of what KW was like then, not to mention his stimulus in his most prolific writing days. We enjoyed our visit here, which I would say was divided into four parts: the tour of the house, the tour of the grounds, our own exploration of the grounds, and the bookstore. The tour guide we had was an entertaining storyteller and obviously admires Hemingway and cares for the cats. He really made the experience for us, in spite...

Fantastic to be able to visit the home of Ernest Hemingway and to enjoy his house filled with so many original pieces from his stay there. Our guide was very informative and delivered many amusing anecdotes. It was a delight to have such freedom walking round both the house and gardens, unhindered by the normal "Don't Touch" notices.
