Visiting the Truman Little White House was like traveling back in time. Our tour guide was excellent and made the history come alive. It also sparked my interest to learn more about President Truman.

Very interesting. I had no idea it was still used by presidents and ex presidents to this day. Fascinating historical facts! Covers a huge area and still an active navy site. Loved it.

Okay, so first off I have to say that it took my Mom and I a bit of time to locate this place - it's actually in a development and is set back from the other attractions in the area so either ask or give yourself some time to find this place (we had maps and knew we were on... More

Our guide, Rene, really brought the history of this home to life for us. We loved his little "stories" about the home and it's occupants over the years. Well worth a visit. If you have to choose between Hemmingway and here, this has to be your pick.

our tour guide did a great job of explaining the history of this place and in great detail about how Harry Truman made it basically his own summer retreat. Well worth the trip to see a piece of American history that served as the summer WH

Such history tucked away on this island! Who knew? And you can just visualize how it was when President Truman was here. They are still waiting for President Obama to accept their invitation for a visit! This was probably one of the most enjoyable places to visit while we were here! And the Truman Annex is a beautiful campus for... More
