Had done this tour before but went back I enjoyed it so much and it was just as good. It is a look back into the 40s and 50s in Key West and a lot of information about the Truman presidency. Not only is it historic but the tour itself is very interesting. I wasn't sure what I would think but I found this to be time well spent. The grounds are pretty and well groomed and the house has original furnishings. You will hear many interesting stories and facts while touring. It is worth the time, money and effort. Just... more

We hit this attraction later in the day. History of this house & location are very interesting. You gain respect for President Truman thru this visit & feel like you get to know more of this era. Beautiful area & setting. Well worth the stop. more

This was the best stop on our Trip. The tour provides you a great insight into this President's life and values. He refused air conditioning because it cost too much ( A huge change from today's Politcians). The tour guides provide a great insight into the man and the events in various rooms of the sprawling home. more

This was more interesting than my wife had I expected. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining which really helped make it worth while. It's a 45 minute tour which takes you back in time. more

We enjoyed our visit to the Truman White House. He was President before my time, and I enjoyed learning about his life. If you are early for a tour, there is a room with some information and photos. This was a neat attraction - unfortunately for us, the AC was broken when we were there, so it was a bit miserable. Definitely take the guided tour - you will learn a lot about Truman and the history of the house. The only thing I really disliked is that you can't take any pictures inside. more
