A really interesting insight into a part-time president! The house itself is quite charming and the overall ambience very appealing.

This was a very interesting site, made even more interesting by our very knowledgeable and personable guide, Anne. The stories about Truman's visits and about his personality and activities really made me want to learn more. The house is charming and the area around the house is a beautiful place to take a walk.

This is a very cool place of historical significance. Visiting the place for a tour is cool, but if you are in town when they have an evening concert, don't miss it! They book great entertainers (mostly standards are sung), and it is a very cozy and intimate evening.

Have visited several times over recent years. Lots of interesting history to take in especially around time of the Cuban missile crisis. Lots of interesting photos.

We decided to stop here on our way out of Key West and were glad we did. Chris was our guide and was very knowledgeable. There are 16 rather steep steps up to the second floor to view the President and First Lady's bedrooms and bath. If you are unable to climb steps, a video will be set up downstairs... More

Interesting history, and a fascinating historical site. I wish we had more time to spend there, walking the house and grounds.

It was fun to walk through this small house with the guide and learn so much history and to know that it is still being used by "government officials" today. It was interesting to learn that there is no kitchen on site and that meals have to be brought in. The rooms are quite small, but the house is charming.... More

Chris was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Harry Truman and it was great to see the house and period furniture. Very interesting tour.

Tips about Truman's visit when he would sneak away to drink bourbon and play poker with aids. Numerous other items of interest and historical significance. Gift shop is a little pricey.
