Joined the group for the morning dives on the Vandenberg!! The staff was incredible! The nice thing about Southpoint is they leave earlier than the rest. Our first dive on the Vandy was incredible! Seeing the ship appear as you near her is such an incredible experience! We had the wreck all to ourselves!!! On board, the staff are awesome!... More

Through & Professional. .. My first wreck Dive(s) the USNS Vandenberg and Cayman Salvager ...thanks to Adam, the dive master, I had an amazing first experience. His knowledge and confidence made the experience that much more enjoyable . He did an outstanding job briefing everyone on the dive plan, and leading us through the wreck. The staff was extremely helpful... More

The discovery scuba program here is awesome for non-certified drivers! They took my son in a swimming pool at the Waldorf Astoria for learning how to dive and take his test before going out on the dive boat to the reefs . They really put a lot of instruction and attention into the training .. Then on the dive on... More

The staff is awesome! They took all our gear to the boat and loaded it for us, gave us a large cooler full of ice to stash all our drinks and snacks, did not crowd the boat at all! There was plenty of room for probably 30+ on this spacious boat but only a dozen on this trip so it... More

I just spent the day diving with Southpoint, largely based on feedback here. I did 4 dives - 2 morning wreck dives, which were fabulous and 2 afternoon reef dives. I dove with Adam in the morning and he was excellent. We did the Vandenburg and the Cayman Salvor. I had a great great time and felt completely comfortable with... More

These guys are phenomenal.....from the office staff that helped our group of 8 get everything organized and handles all of our gear to the boat crew that freakin rocked. We had the WHOLE boat to ourselves. The current was ripping but we made two awesome dives. A++++ all around.

We did a 2 tank shallow reef dive with this outfit recently, and had a great time. The dive boat was nice, the captain gave a thorough briefing at each dive site, and our divemaster, Matt, was friendly and helped get our gear ready. Visibility wasn't the greatest but that's beyond the staff's control. Fairly small group on the boat.... More

Great staff make this operator the best in the business. Captains Mike and Mac are well seasoned pros that get you there and back safely. Dive masters Kevin and Adam (sorry can"t remember all the staff names) are the best! Office/store staff know just what you are looking for and always get it right. I will be back on my... More

Went for the Vandenburg dive. Fast, spacious boat, good equipment and an extremely professional crew that doesn't cut corners on safety. Which is what you want for a 100' deep wreck dive. Everything is well organized And they were very nice. I was impressed.

My recent wreck dive to the USNS Vandenberg wreck with Southpoint Divers was a great experience. With less than 10 dives under my belt, the $30 guide fee was extremely reasonable for what was my most advanced dive to date. My guide Shawn did a great job of answering questions, briefing the dive plan, and leading me through the wreck.... More
