We booked Capt. Alex for a 1/2 day snorkeling trip - the 1st of our 5 day trip. It so blew us away, we booked him every day thereafter and spent our entire trip on his boats. In Key West the thing to do is watch the sunset every night. I was looking for a sunset cruise and was hoping for something a little more intimate then a boat full of strangers. Isescapes was the best choice. You are served a full gourmet meal on real plates, with real glasses and cutlery. Captain Alex is very professional... more

Captain Alex makes a great experience even better. We got on the boat, and it was a little windy and chilly. Alex took us just around the corner where we anchored and began our feast. We all had some kind of spicy shrimp appetizers that were really really good. This was followed by a mango salad or Caesar salad. BOTH... more

IF captain Alex actually decides to work the day you book your trip it might have gotten a higher rating. We had our trip booked for 4 months with him to take a sunset dinner cruise after our wedding and he completely flaked out at the last minute, literally. We never did get the "real" reason he didn't contact us... more

Islescapes is a small, intimate sunset dinner cruise with a maximum of 6 guests. My wife and I loved it (June 2008). The food was excellent, the ambiance perfect, the setting romantic, and Captain Alex is a very charming host. He even made sure the photographs he took came out to our and to the other guests' satisfaction. Highly recommended. more

We chartered Captain Alex for an entire afternoon. He took us snorkeling in two great locations. But the best part about this charter was the AMAZING and SURPRISING dinner. It was hard to believe that such a fresh and palette pleasing 5 course meal was prepared so quickly, and with only a grill! Not to mention his wonderful anchor spot... more

Make sure you book a trip with Islescapes Dinner Cruise. We were the only 2 on the boat (max. is 6). Dinner is cooked right on board after you venture out to Man-O-War Key and anchor.
