I have read alot about Smathers Beach and how it smelled. Our family went to the beach the week of March 24th 2008. It was not crowded, pleasant and no odor as described by other tourists. Very pleasant !!!!! We even took our two little dogs on the beach and did not have any drama with other dogs. more

We visited the Florida Keys in August of 2007. Smathers Beach is so memorable to me because it is where my boyfriend of 7 years proposed.
