Great memorabilia. Friendly staff but if doing the tour ... it is long for kids. We ended up just going about it on our own as my son got bored too fast, although the information and storied were great. If you dare climb the tower for a great view ... not for me as I am petrified of heights.

Pricey for what you get. However, it is a history lesson of early Key West and a partially guided tour. View from atop the tower is worth the exercise up there.

Dive back in time to the old days of Key West! This semi guided tour will immerse you into the salty past of the wreckers and families that lived in Key West during it's first economic boom. They have many artifacts that are absolutely fascinating! This museum is always a must do when I bring friends or family to the... More

Take the guided tour where you are told about the history of Key West. Our guide was amazing with his recreation of the past right down to the cloths. The history and stories were very interesting. Try your hand at lifting the solid silver bar. Take a stroll up the tallest tower in Key West located right on the roof.... More

This is a great little museum. All the information about shipwrecks in key west, and seeing the artifacts is really great. The best part is the character tour guide that starts you out on your journey. The view from the tower is Awesome. The only reason I gave it three stars was I think it's a bit pricey for what... This is a very educational trip and we were very glad we went to this museum. The tour guides are excellent but it's too bad the whole museum isn't accompanied by a tour guide. Their educational story is worth every penny. However, it's short and there isn't much in the museum. Going up in the tower is neat, it is... More

This was an awesome, educational experience for the whole family. The guides were dressed in period clothing, had a wealth of knowledge and even did great accents. The trip to the tower was fantastic and provided great views of Key West. So worth the money and time to come here.

When I used to visit Key West with friends I would always take them first to the shipwreck Museum. The tour started with people in character as ship salvagers talking about the history and wealth of Key West. They would lead you into the basement first for you to watch a 14 minute excellent movie about the salvaging in Key... More

Worth to visit this little 3 floor museum. Full with interesting object, stories and history. Takes 35-40 minutes if you are not in a rush. Climb up to the top, great view over Key West and the port. Nice experiance, suggested !
