The tour is about 25 minutes and gives info concerning the boom town of Key West years ago. The main industry was salvage then not tourism.

This was a really neat museum, but it was pretty small. I had a BOGO coupon for it, so the cost wasn't bad, but I would probably have been disappointed with it, had I paid full price for us both. It was very informative, had a wide range of interesting artifacts, and had very resourceful staff. The view of Key... More

Its ok if you have time to kill while waiting for your tour bus, I don't think its really worth the entry fee. I thought it was boring and short and not recommend it. Happy Travels

Lots of history and great artifacts! Tours are not my favorite, but the kids liked it. The view from the tower was worth the climb. Take a camera and get some get great scenic shots of KW!!

The tour could have done without the 15 minute spiel in the beginning. It went way off topic from shipwrecks and did not hold attention. The displays were neat but the accompanying descriptions were quite lengthy to read. I thought the museum would be bigger, but the view from the lookout tower was great being so close to Mallory Square.

Finally took the tour, and to me it's not really worth the admission. Period actors give a nice history of shipping and salvage on the island, but you can get that online. They have some nice artifacts, but aside from a large bar of silver, nothing that justified the price (and I do appreciate history). I climbed to the top... More

Cute little museum with a fun story. Lift a silver bar, learn a little about Key West & be sure to climb to the top of the tower for the best views in town.

Touch a silver bar. We had a lot of fun and it was interesting. Climb the tower for an incredible view of Key West. I would recommend checking it out.
