We walked through this museum and it was fun for the kids to see. Great views from the top of the museum. They enjoyed learning the history of the keys from the museum. We also did the trolley tour, but did not enjoy that.

Fun and includes a little bit of comedy by the narrators. It shows an interesting short movie. It has a climbing tower with a bell that you can ring, it is very loud but a fun thing to do. The view from the tower is magnificent. The Maritime museum across the street is not as fun and is not worth... More

If this museum were just its exhibits, it would have rated lower for us, because the exhibits weren't very extensive. It got an extra star for the costumed interpreters who really gave a good idea what it was like to be a shipwreck salvager. It would have been even better if they had continued the tour throughout the museum rather... More

The Shipwreck Museum Tour sheds light on the importance of shipwreck salvaging on the early economy of Key West. There are many interesting artifacts to be seen, and the presentation is well done.

My family and I enjoyed the visit to the shipwreck museum overall. The guides in character and costume were great and really played the part. They were a highlight. The museum is VERY well done, but just with limited items on display. Another highlight was the tower you can climb to get an amazing view of the harbor and duval... More

This is worth seeing, with its tour. Helps explain the history of the town which is great. Staff did a very good job with the presentation, and the downstairs movie is worth it. I'd definitely suggest a combo ticket as none of these places take much time to see. Young children wouldn't find anything interesting here, I think it's kind... More

Interesting place to see. There is a lot of history with shipwrecks around the Keys, and it is well represented here. Very good collection of treasures that have been recovered over the years. Climbing the tower and seeing the view of Key West from the top is absolutely breathtaking.

We enjoyed the shipwreck museum, it was very interesting to hear about the shipwreck trade from the guide who did a great job in character and in costume. The museum was well done, and well decorated. We also enjoyed climbing the stairs to the top to see the awesome view of Key West. Highly recommend!

Live show about the shipwreck industry around the keys. You get to see some of the treasures that have been recovered including a solid silver bar. Would recommend for all ages.

The tour/presentation was OK, mildly entertaining. The best part is definitely climbing the tower and enjoying the view!! The entire experience doesn't take much more than an hour.
