More than a kayaking trip; we offer an Eco-Tour Experience! Glide across warm, crystal clear water only inches deep to the shelter of mysterious mangrove islands. Our guides are happy to explain this ecosystem's uniqueness in plants, marine life, birds and natural history.Let us catch marine animals only an expert could find for you to handle and photograph. Learn about egrets, herons and other birds roosting only feet away or prying the flats for food. Geared for any level of paddler, you won’t have to go far to see the hidden beauty that so many have called serene, enchanting, romantic and captivating. We take a maximum of 10 people per guide for a personal experience. « less

We took the 2.5 hour Kayak tour. Were with 2 other couples. Sarah the guide was great - she had a net with her and was able to show us certain sea creatures we wouldn't have picked up ourselves. Kayaking through the mangroves was a little tricky but alot of fun. Perfect for beginners. They picked us up at our... More

My wife and I booked the Romantic Sunset tour prior to our arrival in Key West. We were more interested in the kayaking by headlamp aspect, than the "romantic" parts of the trip, which turned out to be a good thing as we were the only couple in the group, and the only romantic part was watching the sunset from... We went on a Blue Planet Eco Tour in April 2013. They pick you up right at your hotel, which is nice. The staff is very friendly. It's a smaller operation, but it doesn't feel touristy or mass produced. Our tour only had eight people on it, and sizes are capped to make it more personal. We did the Boca... More

The B and B recommended this activity and best tip ever. We did the Sunset Kayak Trip. Not only did we see a great sunset but all kinds of water creatures up close...sea cucumbers, urchins, stingrays and giant sponges. We kayak out to Bird Island and that was amazing. Saw so many different birds nesting for the night. Chad the... More

Our first time kayaking ever and it was great. We were picked up in a van right at our hotel and taken to dock. We met our guide who taught us how to get into and paddle. we went with a few other couples. We kayaked to bird island where there were hundreds of birds then we went to the... More

We took this tour after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Has to be said that this is one of the best trips we have done on our travels - up there with climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge! Had a fab and informative evening, Katy was always looking out for things to share with the group. We shared a double kayak, and... More

Amazing trip with Sarah... she was so much fun and pulled things out of the ocean that we would never consider or most likely would have never seen. She was very knowledgeable about the sea creatures and the ocean environment. Very easy kayaking and was so beautiful in the mango groves. We would do this again. Thank you Sarah for... More

The sunset kayak tour with James was great. We kayaked to Bird Island to see the birds as the were going to sleep, kayaked through the mangroves with head lamps and saw tons of cool sea life that James scooped up for the ocean floor. A highlight of our trip. Worth the price.

We did the sunset tour with blue planet about 2 years ago and since then I find myself telling everyone who is going to key west that they have to take this tour. This was one of the most fun excursions I have ever done...the guide we had so informative and the whole time kept grabbing different sea creatures out... More

I took an evening venture and that turned out to be so cool! If you are going with someone, you have to option of going in a tandem kayak, which makes the paddling a little easier. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we didn't get a pretty sunset and it did sprinkle in us, but no one minded. The water that... More
