My husband and I went out with Chad last week on the sunset kayak trip. We had a full moon, which was gorgeous, but Chad warned this would discourage some of the sealife from coming out. We were very satisfied with the critters he found for us -- hermit crab, conch, jellyfish, starfish, and an octopus. Even if we hadn't... more

Look at their website, claiming cruise passengers are ruining the environment. A little high and mighty if you asked me, especially given they are the one's making money off travelers. I'm guessing a few of their customers didn't bike down from up north and didn't eat organic granola for breakfast. more

We toured with Blue Planet this evening on the Sunset Tour. Didn't see much in the way of wildlife, but the mangroves were amazing. Especially when the sun had set and we ventured into them in the dark (with only our head lamps). Such a totally different kind of experience. Very fun and exciting. We were sad to have that... more

After you've partied away in the hedonistic town of Key West, 'done' the Mallory Square thing and bought all the trinkets... it's time to get back to nature and find your inner peace. Just take it easy, enjoy the sunset - listen to the solitude, feel the peace and discover the wildlife before it's too late and the wildlife isn't... more

We were part of a 7 kayak group sunset trip that Chad led on the 14th of July. Chad was extremely knowledgeable about the marine life and area. His knack for spotting underwater creatures was amazing. We saw trunk fish, tree crabs, octopi, bioluminescent things in the water grass, green glow worms, jelly fish, a mollusk, crab, sea urchins, a... more

Three of us with little kayak did a three hour afternoon kayak eco-tour with a guide, James, who was very knowledgeable about local wildlife and plants. We got to hold or touch several organisms, including conchs, urchins, starfish, rays, jellyfish, and many others. The tour was very interesting for myself and my best friend since we have just completed a... more

We went on the sunset kayak trip with Blue Planet Kayak on June 11, 2009. We weren't sure what to expect but all of us had a fantastic time. We were picked up from our condo by Blue Planet at around 6:30. When we arrived at the marina we met our guide, Chad, and a couple also taking the tour.... more

Four of us went in three kayaks along with another couple in a tandem. Chris, our guide, was incredible. He knew everything about the environment, and found flora and fauna that the rest of us would have completely missed. The mangroves were like another world. Even a quick shower did not dampen our enthusiasm. You do not need to be... more

We were scheduled to do the night kayaking tour with Blue Planet. When we arrived at the dock to get the kayaks it was lightening and a storm was blowing in. We proceeded to ask about the storm and whether we were going to reschedule and we learned some interested information. We were told that we were not the highest... more

We did a full moon Kayak with Chad, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The group size was small (8), and we were able to see a lot of animals and fish (urchin, lobsters, rays, bat fish, jelly fish, bioluminescence). Chad was very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and ocean ecology, and he gave us tons of information and answered every... more
