Since 1977 Quiescence has concentrated on providing it's clientele with an un-crowded and personalized way to enjoy the sport of diving - both scuba diving and snorkeling. We have three boats here at Quiescence, and each operates with a maximum of six passengers to provide each customer with personalized attention, comfort, and safety. This also gives us the ability to take our divers out to spots not normally visited by divers. Our charters operate within the Key Largo National Marine Sanctuary, John Pennekamp State Park, and beyond. Each dive location is selected first and foremost by the customer's wishes, supported by recommendations by the Captain as to local conditions.

We loved being on a boat with only a few other people. We snorkeled while the other three guests dove. Captain Rob chose reefs that were good for scuba and snorkel. We had a great time and saw more varieties of fish and coral than we see in Hawaii.

I am so happy we chose Quiescence for our diving. It was a perfect experience that left our family of four with huge smiles. After two superb days / four dives with Quiescence we moved to Key West for another two days of diving. You'll understand how good the Quiescence team is when I inform you that after one day... Originally dove with this shop 21 years ago. Went back recently with my son. Very safety conscious. I didn't realize it had been four years since my son dove and they insisted on a refresher. It was a bit of a hassle but I have to respect that they were willing to loose business rather than compromise on their safety... More

The staff offers premier service - the captains are professional and knowledgeable - the location is a bit of Old Key Largo. Trips are good value and best I've been on.

We booked our dives with Quiescence because we didn't want to be on a giant boat with 30 people. They took us to great locations that weren't crowded with tourists! We even ended up diving more times than we'd planned because we liked it so much!!

First- if you are comparing Quiescence with any of the snorkel boats that take 25 or more people....pay the extra money- it's so worth it. My husband, 3 children and I went snorkeling with Captain Rob on a Sunday afternoon. He immediately learned (and remembered) our names. He knew the schedules of the large snorkel tours and we hit spots... More

Having snorkeled with big groups in Roatan, Hanauma Bay, and Molokini Crater, I've learned that its much better to have an ocean to oneself. With Quiescence I had something very close to that opportunity, as each boat has six passengers maximum. I took my sister out for an afternoon trip, and we were paired with another group of four. When... More

dove with them in March if this year and did our discover scuba with Matt. He was an awesome instructor and made our experience one we will never forget. We are going back this weekend to dive with Matt again, this time as advanced certified divers! We plan to do our wreck speciality and have a blast. Capt. Steve is... More

I called Quiescence to get some information about planning a snorkel trip as I noticed that information from Molasses reef forecast tower indicated a week of 'calmer' seas. The front desk was helpful and stated that they had a group of 4 snorkelers booked for the next week. I added my name to the list. I drove from West Palm... More

Thank you very much for your review. Due to the personalized nature of our trips, sometimes we do run a few minutes late. We are sorry the boat got off to a late start, but are very happy we could make it up with extra time! That's awesome you were able to see a Spotted Eagle Ray! We hope to... More

The service is just excellent, We went on a 4-hour long snorkeling tour. We were 5 snorkelers on the boat. The captain tailored the tour according to our needs and wishes. Very, very nice experience.
