Locally owned and operated since 1963, the Caribbean Club is one of the last relics of Old Key Largo. Both locals and tourists are at home in this watering hole filled with memorabilia from the Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall classic Key Largo that was filmed at this location. It boasts live music Thursday through Sunday nights, daily happy hours and a dog-friendly atmosphere. Come by car, boat or bike and enjoy stiff drinks, live music, and beautiful sunsets. « less

The place is rather dumpy with a locals only atmosphere. Drinks are no bargain either. Ignore all of that; enjoy a drink and walk around checking out the Key Largo movie memorabilia. Have your pic taken with the Bogey & Bacall cut outs! It's worth a few minutes on your way to Key West.. Enjoy!

We were a large party who decided to go enjoy karaoke night (Wednesday). My first thought was this is a locals only bar and we might end up fighting our way out of there. I could not have been more wrong. The bartender put several tables together for us and we even shared seats with a few of the regulars.... More

The bartender was friendly. The locals hang out here and take over the bar. We felt like we were invading their space! Not to friendly. The prices were great for our drinks. The bathrooms were filthy, dead bugs in the sink and toilet. Both men's and women's bathrooms looked like they had not been cleaned in months. The bar seemed... More

Down here visiting, stopped in for a drink. Bunch of 50 plus smokers at the bar, all pretty much looking at us like foreigners. Waitress looked at us several times but after almost 10 minutes didn't take our order. We bailed

We stopped in for its connection to the movie Key Largo. I would say this is the place the more hard core locals hang. The drinks are strong if that's what you are looking for. Decent outdoor area looking over the bay. In the evening the sun beats in on the longest side of the bar. Can't imagine what it... More

Stopped by mid afternoon on a weekday. Not a lot going on. Maybe if we had been there at a different time when something was going on this review would have been different so take it for what it is worth. The young lady at the bar was nice and friendly. There is an East Coast Rail Road mile marker... More

Our first stop on the way from Miami to Key West. Very friendly place, excellent Bloody Mary, and awesome fresh smoked Wahoo salmon served plain with Ritz and hot sauce. It's a little "dive-y", which we usually enjoy.

Anyone who knows the history of Key Largo knows that the movie Bogie made here changed the name of the town to what it now is. Good local music and spectacular sunsets. You can arrive by driving or by boat (docks out back). The movie Blood and Wine was also shot here for part of it.
