This half-mile-long, crescent-shaped patch reef is an interesting dive site since it is highly developed and similar to those of most outer bank reefs in the Key Largo area.

snorkeling trip

It is a great place to see all types of fish and sea life. Was able to visit it even though the waters were rough that day. Would go there again.

Very small rocky beach offering no sun loungers or umbrellas. Limited eats/drinks in the gift shop. Good snorkeling tour though but you really need to bring all your own stuff to make it a good visit here.

Seeing such untouched beauty was breathtaking. I cannot even put into words how beautiful this location is. The living and thriving creatures around this area is so amazing. Easy to get to and lots to experience. Perfect day when we went.

Grab your snorkel gear and enjoy this interesting reef with many variations. Saw a bull shark, parrot fish, and many other colorful fish. We went on a breezy day but all looked great below and the sea weed sways back and forth. Schools of fish below you as you gently bob around. Really a treat. Preferred this reef to Key... More

Great living coral; lots of fish; large enough to handle a lot of snorkelers--ask if your tour operator comes here!

This was the shallow spot where our SCUBA Ranger dive master took us when our son was little. So calm and pretty shallow. we had the time of ours lives. It was his first real dive and now we can't keep him out of the water.

I had originally signed up with Sundiver Snorkeling (across Overseas Highway) but they didn't have enough people to take a boat out so they advised us to go across the street to the John Pennekamp State Park as they had called ahead and they were taking boats out. There was a $9 fee to get in the park itself, which... More

We took a trip out to Grecian Rocks when it was to rough on the open ocean for dives. GREAT area to snorkel. Saw a great variety to include a ray, barracudas, all sorts of tropicals and a scorpian fish. Little crowded for my taste but still enjoyable

Rented a boat and hooked up to a mooring. Spent a few hours snorkeling and enjoying the view. It was New Years Day and all the moorings were filled up quickly, but there is plenty of space between them so you dont feel crowded. Nice verity of fish to see. Suggestion - if you have younger ones bring a rope... More

The fish diversity was much greater than I expected. Good place for beginner and experienced snorkelers.
