Took a tour with Keys Diver out of Key Largo. Outstanding tour, but it is hard to mess up when you visit such a gorgeous place. A living reef! Numerous fish, stingrays and turtles.

Good for snorkelers, but is susceptible to damage by inexperienced snorkelers due to the shallow nature. I’ve done a lot of diving and snorkeling, and this is the only place I came across a Bull Shark.

This patch of reef is very shallow, making it a good spot for snorkeling. The reef is above the water in some parts, so you will need to go around and be careful snorkeling on top of coral patches. We went with a snorkeling group from John Pennekamp park (the long tour). If there are very inexperienced people in your... More

We visited this site with Pennecamp State Park snorkeling tour, the longer version. Absolutely beautiful site! We saw about 5 tarpon floating by! Water was warm. I'd love to go back!

We snorkeled the Grecian Rocks on a charter boat from John Pennekamp State Park. Snorkeling was easy & the views of the reef and marine life were excellent. I highly recommend it

We visited Grecian rocks as part of our snorkel trip with Keys Divers. We saw spotted rays, barracuda, all kinds of colorful fish, and even a 4' shark! As a newbie snorkeler I was pleased to see all this first time out. Water was generally 6-10' deep, and much calmer than over by the "Christ of the Abyss" location.

My second trip to Grecian rocks was not as good as the first because we were there at very low tide and too many people. Much of the reef was above water, so we had to float next to the reef which limits viewing. I will ask next time and book the trip during high tide. The boat we took... More

Good for snorkeling but not much different on a dive. Dive a wreck and not just a small reef such as this as it is good for a fist snorkel trip.

I have been diving this park for over 40 years. I live in Louisiana and usually trailer my boat down but this trio was a last minute choice. Winds behind a cold front kept us from snorkeling the Dry Rocks and Christ of the deep with my novice snorkeling wife. This reef is shallow and at low tide is partially... More
