We looked at lots of leaflets and reviews and decided that Garl's was our choice for the Everglades and what a good choice it was. We visited in November which seemed to be a perfect time for us because we were the only people on the trip! Jeffrey was our guide and collected us from Key Largo and then tailored... More

It was Tuesday, November 17, and I had the extreme good fortune of being the only one booking a full day tour. I not only got Garl all to myself, but I was able to have major input into the schedule. This was truly amazing because I am a kayaker and all I wanted to do was kayak, kayak and... More

Garl is a terrific guide whose quiet enthusiasm for the environment is contagious. We took an everglades kayak tour and saw so much that we wouldn't have otherwise. He tailored our tour to meet our needs which included two kids. Well worth it!

We had three families with kids ranging from 17 to 10 years old. We did a day trip with Garl which consisted of a walk through the glades visiting some alligator water holes, a fresh water kayak tour, and a salt water coastal kayak tour. Garl made us feel very comfortable and at one with our surroundings. I highly recommend... More

Great, different way to see Everglades. Our guide was very knowledgable. He made the trip very interesting. Not for small children. I was never scared but you do walk in water and you can't see bottom. Guide does point out where to step. Would recommend to friends.

We went out with Don on a small trip with 3 people. I have never seen a wild manatee before a d Don happened to know where they hung out and brought us right to him. A massive one that was digging up some roots. Don was very very funny and knowledgeable, quite handsome too. I'd definitely recommend this place... More

Our group of four did the sunset kayaking tour. It was one of the most amazing things I've done. At first I saw the location and didn't expect much, but little did I know how clear the water was and the world of critters that our guide showed us. The mangroves are a wealth of wildlife. We got to snorkel... More

I booked the full day tour for our family (our three sons are all in their 20's). Some of us had been to the Everglades before, but we'd never had this kind of experience. Don was our guide and his knowledge base had impressive depth and breath. We asked questions all day long and Don was patient and enthusiastic. The... More

I booked the all-day tour to celebrate my 60th birthday with a group of 10 well traveled women from all over the country. We were blown away by this unique experience. Suzette was delightful in accommodating our various requests and needs, helping to outfit us in water shoes and quick dry pants. Garl and Geoff were outstanding naturalists, educating us... More

We booked an all-day adventure with Garl, and it was the best way to see the Everglades. Our adventure included a brief walk to an alligator hole, kayaking through the mangroves and a nature walk at night with flashlights. Garl has an "eagle eye" and was always on the look out for wildlife that would have been impossible to spot... More
