Awesome! If you want the true swamp experience just book this tour. I loved it. Gators, snakes, crocs, sharks.....and really really close. Next time I am in Florida I will do it again!

We went to Key Largo to scuba dive (and of course, that was wonderful) but also decided to do a kayak trip through the Everglades. We are so lucky we hooked up with Garls Coastal Kayaking. We got Garl himself and this was not only a kayaking adventure but a walking tour of many different parts of the very glades.... More

Fantastic! I have been lucky enough to have gone on several trips with Garl. He has an impressive and unique knowledge of the everglades. If you want to see the Everglades on a different level, and not just what everyone else who visits see, go with Garl! -Trey

The best tour we have ever had. Garl was amazing at pointing out all the wonder of the everglades. Our whole family enjoyed the trip and was truly a trip we will never forget. Looking back at the pictures, we think "we were really there?" When you watch one of those "nature shows" and think WOW look at that...yea that... More

This was the best guided tour I have ever been on. I have been on a tour with Garl, one of his trainees and my friend. I never thought that I could be so amazed by the nature of the Everglades. We hiked through the water to a alligator hole. I literally stood right next to an Alligator. Garl always... More

When booking this tour I had no idea that I would be taken into the everglades by a Ph.D. who had a contagious passion for this ecosystem. Our guide Don was fantastic. We saw numerous alligators, a crocodile, a beautiful assortment of birds and a gorgeous wild orchid. If you are adventurous and not afraid of a little mud you... More

Hiking through the Everglades and seeing the amazing wildlife with Garl pointing out some highlights that you would never see on your own is truly an experience of a lifetime. Hats off to Garl, truly amazing. It's crazy to think about being so close to the alligators, but you never felt unsafe. Adult kids thought it was very cool too.

My wife, 11 year old daughter and I spent the day with Don doing the cypress dome slog, and kayaking on nine mile pond and in Florida Bay. About 9 hours all together. Don is a PhD, biologist specializing in herpetology, so we were in good hands for learning about the Everglades environment, and seeing a water moccasin and a... More

We took part in several tours while in the Keys, but our favorites, by far, were the Everglades tour with Garl and the kayak with Dan & Michelle! Their enthusiasm is so fun and their knowledge is extensive! We learned so much and appreciate their respect of nature. We will forever have our memories of getting muddy, kayaking with crocs... We read a bunch of reviews on Trip Advisor and they all mentioned Don as the tour guide. We were extremely excited when we found out we had Garl, the owner, as our guide. My boyfriend and I have been on similar tours so we expected to be in a large group, and hoped we didn't end up with any... More
