Our family booked a full day hiking/kayaking day with Garl's after hearing about this company on CNN travel show and later saw the Nat Geo Natl Parks Everglades episode. Go a bit early to meet up at the fruit market Robert Is Here! Have a packed fruite smoothie that they specialize in mixing up. Robert himself cut up some mango... More

I've don't this trip twice, both times led by Garl himself. He's a great local guide who knows many hidden wildlife gems and is willing to spend all day (and night sometimes) looking for local species. If I'm ever in the area again and have the time/money I'd sure like to go for a third time.

What a great way to see the Everglades, a very fun wet hike, paddle though the mangroves and a paddle in the bay to see sunset. January was nice as the temperature was cool and no bugs. Our guide Alex was great, knowledgeable without being overbearing. He gave us enough space to enjoy the experience on our own.

Words can't begin to explain how wonderful of a trip we had. Tour guide Don was so knowledgable of the flora and fauna that anything we spotted, he identified for us. We had kayaked the Hawaiian nepali coast and I'd have to say this trip was right up there. Memories to last a lifetime. Amazing!!!

We loved our tour guide, but the tour experience was disappointing. Basically, we kayaked in the bay, through channels looking at people's homes, and then a long paddle out to an island that didn't have much to experience or look at. At first our tour was to include a snorkel experience. But cool weather made us change to the "sunset... More

My friend and I did a whole-day tour with Garl, and he was truly amazing! I should say that it was a highlight of our trip in Florida for a week. Garl was a great person and a wonderful guide. He was a very friendly person to interact, and made us feel very comfortable even with first kayaking ever. We... More

My husband and I had a great Everglades tour with our guide Alex! He was very knowledgable about every aspect of the state park. We saw alligators and crocodiles and kayaked through the fresh water and salt water. We were privileged to be the only ones on the tour that day, which was great because our guide catered to whatever... More

As with all the other reviews.. Garl's is a great tour to go see the Everglades. No way we would have found or braved the things we saw on this tour alone! Don our guide was super knowledgeable and has the credentials to back it up.

We booked a tour with them through the Everglades Hostel, which was a full day tour from 9:30 to 6:30 (an hour longer than scheduled). It happened that we were the only people that day, so we had a private tour! Our guide Alex asked what our intests were and what we really wanted to see and then adjusted the... More

We had an unbelievable once-in-a-lifetime tour with Garl. We booked the full day tour, and it was filled with nature, fun, and unforgettable experiences. Kayaking, hiking, and navigating through the Cyprus basin was crazy! I cannot single out any one experience of the day, but the top contenders would have to be sharing a bottle of wine with our fellow... More
