had a great afternoon snorkelling at john pennekamp - very helpful instructors who watched out for you - worth the approx 1 hr drive from miami - took us to a reef where we saw at least 5 types of fish, barracuda, - one snorkeller saw a reef shark - well maintained and well run park with professional well organized... more

This is a hidden gem in the upper keys. This is the only underwater State park in the USA, and it is a place that everyone should visit, Not just the outdoorsie types.
