We have snorkeled at this the Christ of the Deep statue twice now. Both times were amazing. There is so much life at this location. The statue looks amazing in the water too. We took some really great photos here. The water was very clear the first time we came here. The second time it was clear to look at... More

We went out thru the Pennekamp State Park. The reef is a live and well. Christ of the Deep is worth the time and effort. A must see for snorkelers and divers alike.

Our dive boat stopped near this underwater statue, which was placed by the Cressi family (famous Italian makes of dive equipment) in 1965. It's one of a trip of statues which face each other (one in Italy, one in Brazil and one here). The Christ statue is about 10 feet tall and of impressive quality. Unusual and worth a visit.

Very cool! Kind of eerie as well to swim up to a Jesus in the water. Its well done and intriguing. While its also a very unique landmark - so go see it just because of that

Had a wonderful time snorkeling and seeing the statue. We went with Keys Diver and it was very enjoyable.

Beautiful statue of Christ underwater. A truly awesome experience for everyone. A real "National Treasure " for Florida!

This is an interesting view in 25 feet of water with a surrounding reef. Snorkelers can enjoy it as well.

This was even better than I had hoped. We liked it so much we went back the next day; both times on boats from the John Pennekamp State Park. The boat crews were friendly and professional. Be advised: the marine heads (bathrooms) on the boats were very, very, spartan.

Went out with Amoray's Dive Resort and had a great dive. Did hit some Jelly Fish but got to touch the statue!

The last time we were down it was very crowded as a lot of boats were in the area at same times. Seeing this statue with his hands turned up as to say behold this all. Breath taking.
