Great place to take pictures. Once you see the statue venture on to the coral. I have seen so many cool creatures. More

If you are looking for good family trip, take a visit to the Christ of the Deep. Better known as Christ of the Abyss. Some things to consider: Take sunscreen and apply it BEFORE you get on the boat as the captain will discourage applying sunscreen once on board due to the sunscreen will make the deck slippery. Visited Chris of the Deep with a snorkel tour out of Pennekamp. Really amazing! Coral Reefs surrounding the statue are beautiful. Such a fitting place for this statue to be looking over in the deep. More

We had a beautiful day to snorkel. Had about 100 yards to swim from the boat to the statue and it was very worth it. Beautiful reefs, lots of fish and the statue itself is amazing to see. More

The highlight of my dive was seeing the statue of Christ. It represents the thankfulness of Italians for US help in WWII and is said to face its twin in Italy. More
