My husband and I had a tragic accident with our dog several days ago and came to the keys to just escape from our reality. After having done several dolphin swimming programs around the world, we knew this would help lift our spirits a bit. All I can say is wow.. The incredible trainers, Chantel, Brian, Melissa really let us... More

The dolphin "Structured Swim" at Dolphins Plus is an excellent experience! My family and I had a great time learning about the dolphins and experiencing interacting with these amazing mammals. The trainers and educators were excellent! The were patient, friendly, and knowledgable. The "swim" is great for families! We have two boys - 9 and 15 - and they both... More

My 14 year old daughter was attacked by Bob. She is ok but now scared to death of the water and everything in it. We were told they don't like it when you move your arms. The dolphin knocked her floatie out of her arms so was splashing to stay afloat. Bob grabbed her and pulled her under the water.... More

On our last day in Key Largo, our flight outbound wasn't until 10 pm, and so as we checked out of the hotel we asked about what to do during the day. He suggested going to Dolphins Plus and swim with some dolphins. So we go there, only to find out the classes were full; but we were allowed to... More

We let our sons, ages 18 and 9, do the structured swim. They had an amazing time swimming with Grace and Jessica! I'm sure they will remember it the rest of their lives! Yes, I know what you are thinking... It is very expensive. But it is well worth it! The dolphins are all VERY well cared for and obviously... More

Before my sister died, she wanted to swim with the dolphins. I took her here and she loved every second of this. The dolphins all swam around her as if they were protecting her from something. I think they knew she was ill. The staff took her afterwards to pet a beautiful dolphin in the air and took a picture... More

Truly an amazing learning experience!! I have to say Dolphins Plus is Key Largo's best kept secret. Even though it is off the highway it is a GEM of a place. The staff are knowledgeable and can answer even the craziest of questions and the management has proven themselves to be for the animals. This is not a show it... More

Visited in July 2014. Checked all reviews online and Dolphins Plus came out on top. The experience started with an hour or so talk about the dolphins and then your told what will happen when you enter the water. The talk was interesting but perhaps a little in depth for younger children. You are then given a life jacket and... More

I surprised my husband of 35 years by a session at Dolphins Plus to swim with the dolphins. We chose the structured swim which was amazing -- we were able to have a hands-on experience with these friendly dolphins. The dedicated trainers shared their knowledge with us. I recommend this experience at least once in a lifetime -- so memorable... More

We were a family of four (two teens) and we did it together. It was an amazing and fantastic experience. A bit expensive and even more expensive to buy the photo-cd, but we wanted the pictures. But it was worth it! The lexture was good and the swim was wonderful!
