This was a nice beach and it has a great playground. There wasn't a lot of parking though. The water was clear, and the sand was clean. I took my two toddlers, and they had a blast.

HOW ARE THE JELLY FISH out on the reef? They have been terrible. We do not want to venture out there if they are tons of jellies. Bev

Beautiful place for diving and snorkeling. Limited mooring buoys so get there early. Great to view all the reef has to offer. Stay away from mooring close to the dive boats unless you want to be swamped with newcomers.

It's funny that the Key's are so limited on beaches but this one is great. It was a little grassy, but we learned that was because it is nesting season for turtles. The sun set was very nice from here. There is a nice park if you have children.

I've gone in Maui cancun and California and this is the best. Go with Spirit Snorkeling for a great trip.

We went out on an afternoon snorkeling trip with Spirit Snorkeling. I really didn't expect too much and was pleasantly surprised by both the trip and the great snorkeling. Easy, comfortable trip out to the reef on a large catamaran and lots of fish on a shallow reef. Having snorkeling the day before on an unprotected reef, the difference in... More

We took a trip out to the reef to snorkel. I have only done it once before. Great variety of fish to look at.

We chartered the CaraMia with Capt Ryan and he took us out to the light and the reef. We caught a bunch of fish and even though it was crowded, we had a great time there.

We snorkeled here this week and the fish were great. But I'm mainly posting this to alert those that were not aware that the currents can be very strong here and the water very choppy (meaning that they tend to break over you instead of floating on top). We did not know this and we almost had a bad experience... More
