Visited beach on 4/14/2015, a Tuesday around 11:00 am. $5 entry fee. Plenty of parking. I will admit to what I had read from others - the beach wasn't totally clean. It wasn't pristine, some other Floridian beaches are, however: it wasn't a disaster either. I'd rate it with Atlantic City NJ beaches, only, obviously, much warmer. The sand bar... More

Being a local pilot, I have often flown over Key Biscayne and thought it looked gorgeous from the air. From the ground, not the same. If driving, there's a $1.75 toll to cross the bridge which is actually scenic, the drive there is excellent. Parking is $5 for the day which isn't too bad for Florida if spending more than... More

If you wanna relax at the beach in Miami without any salesman or people trying to sell you make up, beach chairs or towels, this is the place! Some parts of the beach are quite disgusting with trash and cigarette butts, but if you walk out on one of the sandbanks (north beach) it kinda reminds you of the Bahamas.... More

this beach is beautiful. it's not like your average Miami Beach -- people wise. Not many people at all. It has an awesome sand bar, which is something I've never seen before. It was cool to walk on. It has like 10 stalls of public restrooms (for womens - I don't know the # for mens). A lot of other... More

Anyone with interest in nature would love this place. There is a very impressive nature center that is set up for kids but has a very engaging staff who enjoy what they are doing. It was a quiet day so we got to spend a lot of time with the exhibits. Then we went to the kayak rental. Got to... More

One of my favorite beaches, great for walking at low tides, relaxing enjoying with friends, family, etc. It has great sandbars, especially at low tide, small children can enjoy, build sandcastles, go wading. Great views, there's plenty of parking, good for having celebrations. There's a nature center and bird sanctuary area good for a stroll, taking children.

Crandon Park and Beach is truly a hidden gem in Miami. The locals keep this place to themselves for a reason. Quiet and beautiful place to mediate, sleep or have a picnic with family and friends without worry about the pretentious or rowdy people that are associated with Miami Beach. My only negative experience, the beach is really dirty and... More
