The weather in Miami hasn't been so pleasant lately... It's raining a lot therefore crandon park has many trees around it's surrounding and brings out all the Mosquitos . They have bikes in which you can rent and it's fun but the beach isn't the best in cleanness . The water isn't clear and very shallow . They have water... More

Wow!!! I could not believe my eyes! I grew up going to this beach. Went back home this summer to enjoy the beach and got back home to GA with a bad bug :-(. Day 4 my 5 year old has 103.1 of fever. Stay away from this beach!

This is the most disgusting place/beach I have EVER been too!!! I don't understand any of the positive reviews of this place. Once you get out of your car you get this rotten egg & sewer gas smell. It just gets worse as you get closer to the brown disgusting water. I was literally gagging the smell was so bad!!!... More

There was so much to do here and explore we actually came 3 times. The nature center on North beach was great for my three year old, there was a hug playground and merry ground at South beach, bike rentals, a great boardwalk concession stands. An amazing park called the peacock garden. Of course the great beach with life guards!... More

Key Biscayne is definitely worth a visit. Such a beautiful place, a lovely beach with palm trees makes you feel you're in the Caribbeans. Beautiful. Would stay longer if I knew...

So after reading all the bad reviews I was so worried about this rental experience. Got reservation through Priceline. Got to counter at 10:00 at FLL airport. No line, went straight to car. Had economy, Chevy Sonic which was actually not bad. They held $200 on cc for only 2 days and then bank release funds. Yeah! No problem whole... More

On our trip, we hit many many beaches - Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Miami, South Beach as well as several in the Florida Keys proper. By far, this was the gem. There is a small fee to park - i think it was $5. Well worth it. Not gulf coast white sand, but still wonderfully soft sand. The beach was fairly... More

Crandon Park beach is a very quiet, wild, nature place to go, it is in Key Biscayne and is connected to mainland Miami via the Rickenbacker Causeway, very easy to go there from airport, south beach and downtown Miami, always remember the entrance is via Rickenbacker, all year long you will have a beautiful weather, better from May to September,... It was great... we were there early during the week. The concession does not open until 10:30 or 11am for rentals or food. With 3 kids under 7 the water was great!, We went out up to 20 feet out into the ocean and the water level was well below or at my knees (I'm 5'0"). The beach was calm... More

I'm so sorry that I had less than an hour on this beach. (I had to go to the airport right afterward.) It is absolutely gorgeous and on a super-sunny and hot weekday afternoon it was nearly empty. At low tide the water was warm and calm and you could just float and relax. So quiet. If you're alone, or... More
