This is one of my favorite beaches to refer families to. The beaches are nice and wide, there is plenty of parking, too. While Crandon doesn't have beach butlers like Miami Beach, it has instead more running room for kids, plenty of space to play ball games (you can't play catch with a baseball on Miami Beach), good facilities and reasonable prices for parking and rentals. Local families were all over the beach this Sunday, a good sign! More
