More family friendly than South Beach, but not as clean

Why would you go there when there are so many better places ? Drive a little bit more to Key Biscayne and hit Crandon.

This beach is in dire need of a beach cleanup. It is everywhere you look and everywhere you step. The only trash cans are in the parking lot. I like that dogs are allowed. The water is beautiful, but sit in it long enough snd trash flows by. There needs to be more done for the sand and enforcement of... More

Beautiful place, but then almost all of Key Biscayne is. Will go back. Very different than South Beach. More of a quiet place.

This beach is nice because it is free to park and easy to get to. Even on a weekday, however, parking is tight and difficult to exit. The beach is more family friendly than the beaches in Miami Beach. There is plenty of shade under trees near the parking lot.

Only a couple of miles from central Brickel and a toll away, you can enjoy a magnificent beach that stretches for a couple of miles of clear sand and soft ocean breeze. This is a public beach, so, be aware that on holidays its going to be full and vendors of different types and origins, will offer food to eat... More

The park is great but the dog poop on the ground and around the waters edge even in the water is not so great

What a great place to have fun with the family and family pets. We enjoyed our kayaks and the abundance if sea life. Great for fishing, snorkeling, shore diving, picnicking, and swimming. Can't wait to go back

The beach is not really a beach but more like a small stretch of sand in front of a small parking lot. It is free to park which is a good thing in Miami. Dogs are allowed - which is the best thing about this stretch of sand. Water is not the best. Rocky bottom. Lots of seaweed and ants.... More

Every time we are in Miami we make a point of going to the Key Biscayne causeway for a walk. Great views and a comfortable environment. The beach seems to be a popular place to take your dog for a walk and a swim.

Good beach if you have dogs, lot of seaweed at the beach but amazing views of Miami skyline and the bridge, good for walking or biking along the the paved path or have a picnic/barbeque' not too good for swimming.
