Not sure how anyone could have a bad experience at this place. Our day started with a beautiful drive into Key Biscayne on a Sunday morning. Service was fantastic, from pro shop, to bag drop, to starter. Hit a few balls at the range and the starter let us on 15 minutes earlier than our actual tee time. The course... More

Where to begin... As a south Florida resident for the last 3 yrs, this was my first and last time that I will visit this course. First off, I called around 1 PM Saturday afternoon to see if I could get a tee time at 3 (ish), the girl on the phone said just come on out, it is wide... More

About a year ago, I wrote a rather uncharitable review of this facility and the golfing experience that it provided. Since that time, some interesting developments have occurred that promise to restore this sleeping beauty to its once-lofty position among south Florida courses. With the retirement of two well-intentioned but poorly equipped Dade County officials, Robert Montesino has taken the... More

I have played there several Times, since I live nearby. For visitors the golf Course its way to expensive, but today a guy flirtes with the woman in the pro shop for 15 minutes and she gave him the discount...I had to wait all that time until she was done with him to pay my greenfee...so come with time to... Not just the best vistas from a golf course in South Florida, but also one of the most interesting layouts. A real bargain for Dade county residents and not really that bad for tourists. Be careful of ant hills here and there, you don't want to accidently step on one of them for sure. Biggest complaint is that when crowded... More

Extremely challenging for the amateur golfer. Staff is friendly and course is in excellent condition. On cart GPS is a must for first time visitors. Green Fees were very reasonable. We will need to make this a regular course on our annual trip to South Florida. The lush setting, with the Miami Skyline in the back ground is Stunning.

Crandon is a long, tough course. Slope rating for the blues is 149. There is a lot of water and a lot of sand. It is next to the Atlantic Ocean so there is frequently an easterly wind making it enough more difficult. Visitors are generally serious golfers as this is not a resort course. I have played there four... More

Too bad the county owned course is being so poorly taken care of. Nice clubhouse, restaurant, pro shop. Tee boxes are awful, fairways are fair, and areas around the greens are HORRIBLE. Ruff is one thing, weeds out of control is something else. Green fees for visitors are $ 192.00. They have afternoon rates of $ 43, but they are... More

We enjoyed a great round on the Crandon Park Golf Course, beautiful views across the bay, lots of wild life but a real challenge on a windy day.

Yes, the course is beautiful....but be warned, "beauty is only skin deep." This is one tough course. Everyone on the staff treated us first class and we had a great time.
