Sailboards Miami helped me organize an office outing for 15 co-workers visiting Miami for a sales conference. Customer service was great and we all enjoyed a 2 hour kayak tour on Biscayne Bay, past the Miami skyline and into the mangroves behind the Vizcaya mansion. Originally we planned to combine windsurfing with kayaking however prevailing winds were offshore and Sailboards... More

We all had a great time! You have a fabulous group of co-workers, ready to explore the beauty of Biscayne Bay (and even see a manatee). Thank you for coming out to play and for taking the time to write a review. We look forward to seeing everyone again. Meanwhile, we send you thoughts of warmer weather! More

I am an experienced windsurfer and have my own high wind gear. This weekend I rented floaty and stable, beginner's gear from Sailboards Miami to take my 3 year old with me for a spin. We had a blast and run into another expert sailor teaching his 11 year old. Great family time. Ovidio, Nixon and the rest of the... More

We paddle boarded all the way to Viscaya and back. We borrowed a sail to learn how to windsurf. The folks at Sailboards Miami made us feel super welcome and extremely accommodating. Highly recommend them. Bring sandals or flip flops as sand may become hot during middle of a sunny day.

Yes, it does get hot during the summer months! Happily the water is there to cool you off. Vizcaya is such a fun destination--and the last thing you expect to see in Miami! We appreciate you taking the time to share your positive experience. Be well and hope to see you soon. More

I had such an amazing time..wanted to go paddleboarding but got good advise about the winds being a bit strong so a kayak was advised instead. Had such a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. There's also a lifeguard on duty so you feel safe at all times :-)

Thank you, Nicole, for your lovely review. I am glad you were able to get out on the Bay and have a wonderful time. Yes, depending upon the wind strength and direction, sometimes a kayak is more fun than a paddle board (unless you really want to push yourself). As for the lifeguard, he was fabulous but only there for... More

My wife and I never kayaked or windsurfed before. We decided to visit Sailboards Miami based on their numerous excellent reviews. We now see why they are so acclaimed! Their amazing customer service, their hand holding and encouragement to try a new sport were appreciated by both of us. My wife windsurfed and I kayaked. Their equipment is up to... More

We went on a one hour tour on Key Biscayne. We enjoyed the boat ride and we got to see dolphins, manatees and other wild life while on this wonderful tour. The owner and workers were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this wonderful boat tour to anybody visiting the Key Biscayne area. My son and my entire family... More

Overall, it was a nice ride on the kayak. Except my seat kept moving and eventually got untied from the kayak and fell. I did get a rash on my back from the rubbing of the seat, so I suggest to keep ur shirt on.

Bummer about the backrest which are supposed to make your life more comfortable! We try to check everything but occasionally something escapes us, for which I do apologize and will remind staff to double check. Rash guards/shirts can be great for sun protection as well (and keeping you cool if you get them wet). Thank you for taking the time... More

We had a great time. Planning on going again this afternoon! Owner and worker were great. Very helpful, it was our first time paddle boarding so we had no idea what to do. We were taught in 10 min and on our way. Definitely recommend going here! They also have great equipment.

We are so glad you had a good time. The flat waters make paddling so accessible for a first timer and I am happy to hear you liked the equipment! More

I've been here twice and I enjoy renting their kayaks. The guys that work there are very nice and relaxed and help you out as much as possible. Parking up front is reserved for their customers which is nice and best of all parking is free. Nice beach area away from boat traffic and nice views of biscayne bay. Check... More
