Good access. Excellent parking facilities. View of the houses on stilts. Nice place to stroll and have a picnic nearby where there are bathroom facilities. Too bad they close at 5 pm that in practice was 4:45 pm.

Great place to come visit. Perfect place to take pictures and enjoy being outside. Geographically interesting, and interesting to learn the surrounding history. Would recommend coming down here for 1-2 hrs tops.

Cape Florida is a nice place for tourists and locals alike for one reason: it's genuine and down-to-earth. The beach itself is nice...except for the overabundance of seaweed clumps. The water is nice in a Goldilocks way...not too hot/cold, nor deep/shallow. The great part is the lighthouse, and the hardwood nature trails...they're awesome! Definitely worth the reasonably-priced toll to visit.

At the south end of the Key you can see the fish houses out in the ocean. There wasrumor they woudl be removed years ago but they are still there. (maybe updated).

Excellent bike path on one side, and nice beach on the other. Plenty of shelters for picnics (frequently reserved for b'days and events), and piers for fishing.
