We visited Vilano Beach for the first time in June. Just north of St. Augustine, this beach is still very quiet. It's one of the few beaches that you can still drive a car on. The beach is very deep so the cars are not dangerous or a problem. We rented a house on the channel off the Intercoastal Waterway.... more

Vilano Beach is about 2 miles outside of St. Augustine, its a barrier island with the intercoastal on one side and the Atlantic on the other side.
