Good way to to learn more about the area. We did not get Connie, the much written about guide, we wished we had. Our guide could have been more knowledgeable, less gregarious. If you go when it's too cold to have the plastic windows rolled up you can't see out. We had to roll the window down and I really... More

Don't miss out on this sweet ride. Each town has its story and the only way to really hear it is to sit back and enjoy the ride. Rev Reg is CHARMING and knowledgable. What a nice guy! It's a great starting point to get your bearings. We learned, laughed and loved this trolley! ps. There is no kiosk. Just... More

This trolley tour is a great way to start your time on the island. They touch on local history and take you through the different areas of town. The driver/narrator Connie does a fantastic job of leading the tour.

We had been to Amelia before, but had not gone on a tour. This was a great way to see the island, beautiful restored houses, and hear about what goes on now and in the past. Make sure you get your $1 off coupon from the store in front of the where you pick up the trolley. We went to... More

We had Connie as our driver. Connie is very knowledgable about Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. She speaks very clearly and is personable without using excessive jokes, corny stories etc. The trolley has wooden benches as one would expect. If you have trouble sitting on wood for very long, you might bring a cushion. Personally I found the tour so... More

Our tour with Connie (Tour Guide) was a great way to find out all the behind the scenes history of the island. We had seen quite a bit of the historic district but after talking to Connie we realized this was the best way to experience the history of the island. It was "Great" I would surely take advantage of... More

We took the Amelia Island Trolley on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in late October, and it was a truly enjoyable and relaxing way to see lovely Amelia island. Our tour director did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the Island, and we got a chance to see some beautiful historic Victorian homes and historic sites on our tour... More

While the price per person...$20...is a little high, our southern belle host gave a wonderful history of the island while driving along beautiful Victorian homes and historical sites. The trip lasts around an hour and a half. The trolley itself is neat but the seats are a little hard...reminded me of my desks in grade school if you know what... More

We always begin a new adventure with a tour if possible. Found it to be the best way to get a feel for the area. This tour, by far, was the best we've ever had. Connie Claxton was personable, knowledgeable and most importantly for us...you could understand every word she spoke. She gave you the facts of houses, business and... More

This is not a hop on hop off trolley tour, so bare that in mind. Lasts about 11/2hrs and you pay as you get on the trolley - no kiosk. Great info about the area, really enjoyed the tour.
