We very highly recommend the Trolley Tour with Connie Claxton as the tour guide. She is very friendly and entertaining. The start is conveniently located at the marina end of Centre Street at 11:30 and 2:00. Our tour took an hour and a half, and we saw so many interesting historic houses and buildings, and heard all of their stories.... More

We have been on other trolley tours ( Savvannah, St. Augustine etc. ) and this was the best. Connie, the driver, was great. She was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. She did not feel the need to tell corny jokes like many of the tours do, nor did she talk to her customers like they were 10 years... More

Looking at Amelia Island on a map we decided to go and pay a visit. We noticed a trolley bus parked at the end of the main street and decided to give it a go. There wasn't much information but a notice in the trolley of what time it was leaving. We had to ask the lady in a nearby... More

4 of us couples called in advance about the Trolley. We were told that the trolley has 2 scheduled trips each day of the historic district. We all showed up at the Trolley stop 15 minutes early. The trolley never came. Our first call to the service we spoke with a live person who said the trolley was running a... More

The tour itself is very informative and interesting. Connie was knowledgeable and tried her best to make up for the poor PA system that was very distracting. There are beautiful homes and we got to learn a bit about each of the families that lived there as well as a good history of Fernandina Beach. The bus made some stops... More

My husband and I took the trolley tour on this past Friday afternoon. Connie was very knowledgeable and extremely nice! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, which took us all around the area. We paid $14/person ($1 off from the Hampton Inn!), and it was well worth every penny.

Very good tour of the historic district with Connie driving the tour trolley. She knew her facts, was a good driver and seemed to take a personal interest in making sure everyone could hear and she answered questions as we traveled. A bit pricey, but worth it to learn of the history and see the homes/business on Amelia. About a... More

If you're not a history buff you may not like this trolley. The man driving the trolley has very dry humor and he thought he was funny but actually it wasn't.

Great way to explore AIs historic district and learn about the amazing history of the island. Sides are open for an easy view of the amazing old homes built in the late 1800s during the island's Golden Age. A must for any visito.

We paid $15 per person. It was worth it to have someone drive us around and learn a little about the island. I would recommend it.
