I had not played Long Point in many years and had forgotten what a delightful experience it was. It is in excellent condition the staff from greens keepers, wait persons, club pro staff and everyone concerned was very efficient and helpful. It is one of the best club experiences I have enjoyed in a long time. Don't go there if... More

A bit tough but a great course. Well taken care of and staff is super friendly. Just a tip there is no beer cart that drives around.

A wonderful well designed and maintained course. If you get a chance to play I highly recommend it. It is a difficult course especially the back nine but you cannot beat the views.

I visited the Long Point Golf Club while taking a lesson at OMNI Plantation last month. This is a beautiful course with incredibly lush grounds and lovely, manicured holes. I never get to see magnificent trees draped with Spanish moss back home, so this was quite the experience. By the way, the instruction here was also superb. I took a... More

Long Point Golf Course is a great course for you to play on your next visit to Amelia Island. Private Course that will take tee times from your resident pro. Some holes on the Ocean, but not as many as the Ocean Links at the Omni. Tee Times in June start at 8 since they have so little play. Bugs... More

Had dinner tonight in the bar at Long Point and it continues to amaze me with the wonderful tastes created by the Chef there. Golden Tomato soup was awesome! I had the Shrimp and Vegetable stir-fry this time followed by coffee and the famous Key Lime Pie. Saw the fish of the day (Mahi Mahi) and really looked fantastic. Long... More

Well kept, challenge and place to be with friends or meet new people. Not run of the mill. Good service, good shape. Try it.

Played golf the first week of September 2009. Although it had not rained in the 5 days prior and was sunny and breezy, I looked down at my left leg on the first tee box to count 12 mosquitoes from knee to ankle. Played the front 9 in 1 hour and 25 minutes as it was impossible to putt. I... More
