Great course

Challenging and really well taken care of. The course is a bit tough but well worth the trip. There is a beer cart that drives around and cigars are available in the pro shop.

Very relaxing place to play a round of golf. Got there about 11:30 and had a sandwich in the club house. Took plenty of time to tune up my putting and chipping, then went over to the driving range and hit as many as I wanted. Only thing left to do was play a sensational, albeit narrow, course.

Went there for $300. worth of massages, purchased a spa item for $80. then got turned away at the gate wanting to look at the accommodations to see if we wanted to stay there.

Got to play this course while on Amelia Island & remember it from the Big Break. Very nice with several holes right along the Atlantic (mostly par 3's so they could pack as many holes along the ocean as possible. It was in great condition & all the staff members were very nice. We played on a Saturday morning so... More

This is a don't miss course in my opinion. It's beautiful, challenging, and a lot of fun to play. I played Oak Marsh earlier in the week, and it abused me, but this course is as nice and a bit more forgiving. It was in superb condition and wasn't crowded at all. I only have one complaint. While warming up... More

We played this course given recommendations from a number of sites. We were excited to play a course with seaside holes. We knew going in that there were 6 par 3 holes - but were surprised that they were all exactly the same yardage from the tees we played! Got a bit redundant. The ocean holes were very nice but... The cart staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The inside staff was nice but not overly helpful. The inside staff needed to communicate with the starter. There was a tournament heading out at 1030am and we were told to be at hole 11 by 1030. We were at hole 11 by 1015 however the starter started pushing us at the... More

This by far is the best golf course at Amelia Island. A short course but lots of trouble on a lot of holes! Great Ocean Views on about 6 of the holes! Greens were in great shape! If you hit it crooked do not play this course it will tear you up. This is where the women played the Big... More

This course was in great condition even after aeration. Listed as top woman friendly course, and I must say that is correct. Tee boxes are placed so you may actually hit a green in regulation. 5 Holes border the ocean, so not only beautiful, but the wind will be your partner. Very friendly staff and kudos to the maintenance staff.... More

I recently played a tournament at the Ocean course and have no desire to return. If I had been paying resort fees I would have been mad and raised a little ruckus afterwards. Conditions were not good on tees, fairways, or rough. Greens were mostly ok but not very fast. Medium at best. Many dead spots in fairways and rough... More
