This is one of our most prized locations to visit while in FLA. We have visited Ft Clinch St Park at least 4 times for camping. The sites are extra large and very private. If you are in the area this is a must-see. Plenty to do- camping, biking, hiking, running, fishing, swimming, etc. The fort is fabulous and well-preserved and kept up. The re-enactors are knowledgeable and make the experience. more

If you go to Ameilia Island you must save a day for Fort Clinch. This is part of a state park. It costs $5 to get in. People camp, bike, hike, look for seashells, and fish.
