So glad I found this tour on TripAdvisor! My husband and I love Segway tours, and this was about the 4th we've done. We booked the 8 AM Seabreeze Tour on the beach, which used the heavy-duty segways. We were very happy to find we were the only ones on the tour, and Crandall was a great guide, pointing out... More

The most fun we had on dry land all week! Based out of Amelia's Wheels on the Omni Plantation, our first tour was the family tour with Josh & Marilu early in the week and it was fabulous! We were the only people on the tour and even our 8 yr old mastered the Segway in minutes. You begin by... More

I took the 10 am tour with another large family. Josh and Alex were our guides. They were excellent at teaching us how to ride the segways. We practiced for about 10-15 minutes before we headed out on the tour. It was a lot of fun riding the Segways. It is something that everyone should try.

My husband and teenage son took the Segway tour at the Omni. We were pleasantly surprised to find we were the only three on the tour. After a short video we got on our segways and were off. Casey was our guide and was as sweet as could be. The property was beautiful! I would recommend this to anyone who... More

My teenage daughter and I decided to do one of the Segway tours while staying at the Omni Amelia Island resort. It was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation. Our instructor, Crandall, did an outstanding job covering the basics of riding a Segway. We were a little apprehensive at first, but within minutes, we were performing the basic... More

Group of 7 joined a Segway tour - all first timers - and had a great time. Enthusiastic tour guides conduct a pretty intensive training before the group departed for beautiful oceanview paths and a look at some of the property's beautiful homes. The tour is not inexpensive but does entitle participants to future discounts. Treat yourself and make time... More

The entire family rented bikes to tour the great Plantation trails, then took the "beach" segway morning tour. We will never forget it. Thank you Omni.

We went on the seabreeze tour. Two adults and our two children, ages 13 and 15. Price for this 1 1/2 hour tour was $340. I believe this time included the 20 minutes training, but I wasn't watching time too closely so I could be mistaken. A little pricey in my opinion, but I know these segways retail for 5,500-7,000... As "experienced" Segway users we were hoping for a challenging route.....the tour we went on use the standard i2 Segways - and we stayed on paths around the resort - which was a little tame for us.....so I'd recommend the tour that goes early in the morning - as that one uses the X2 off road Segways and goes on...
