Great snorkeling! Possibly the best in the keys!

Saw sharks, gaint Goliath, fish, barracuda, tarpon, great reef. In the keys not sure there is better snorkeling if you want to see a wide assortment.

Went diving with Strikezone Charters to Looe Key and the Reef is in great shape. Sometimes too many visits by tourists take their toll on these sanctuaries. Unfortunately during the visit we saw one Cuda with a spear through it, would have been nice to help the fish out, but it was lodged in there pretty good and you never... More

Instead of taking the high dollar snorkel tour from Key West, drive up to Looe Key and hop on a boat for less than 1/2 the price. It's a shorter ride out to the reef and more time in the water. This is absolutely the best place to snorkel in the keys.

Looe is a marine sanctuary, so no fishing. There's tons of fish on the reefs, including barracuda and occasional sharks and Goliath grouper. Like the rest of the world, the coral are struggling; lots of soft coral but no elkhorn and the brains look a little patchy.

Went out with Looe Key Dive Center. Everything perfect, plus Margaritas served on the way back.

Yesterday, we headed out to Looe Key, one of the most significant dive and snorkling sites in North America and in the world. Looe Key National Marine Santcuary is a coral reef that is excellent to explore. We went out to Looe Key in our own boat, but there are numerous charter boats located in Big Pine and the Lower... We took a snorkel trip from Bahia Honda and it was pretty good. It was probably a little too rough for beginners. It was my first time snorkeling and we had 2-3 ft swells. All three of us weren't feeling our best. I only snorkled for about half the time, the rest I had to sit on the boat looking... More
