This animal sanctuary is free to visit, but donations are encouraged and gratefully accepted. There is a small gift shop at the entrance and then a series of wooden walkways in and around the facility. Ample rest rooms and easy walking make this a very nice place to visit, especially with little ones in tow. There really wasn't anything that... More

After we left Loggerhead Marinelife, we stopped for lunch at a fabulous place called The Fresh Berry Cafe. Wow! Great, great food. Just thought I'd mention it. Then on to Busch Wildlife. We fed the small turtles, we saw little field mice running around loose, along with some sort of cranes who visit often especially when it's time to be... More

Busch Sanctuary is an amazing place. There's no admission and you can spend a leisurely time walking through the well kept paths and enjoying up close and personal views of Florida wildlife. They provide educational programs designed for young visitors but always a treat for grownups too. You can't help but want to make a donation at the end of... More

Both a rescue/recovery and educational facility. Well laid out. A variety of local birds and animals. Highlight for me was a Florida Panther ... beautiful animal. Free admission -- make a donation. The cypress swamp had a primeval feel ... algae coated turtles were fun to watch. Plan to spend, maybe 45 minutes - not that big but worth a... More

Our grandson loves this place, it's a must-see when he comes to visit. Lots of animals, and very educational. Make sure you leave a donation, too, so they continue their good work!
