Happened upon this lovely spot by accident. It is free with donations. The staff is very friendly and very informative. It has a nice design so you wind through the foliage and displays as if you are in a beautiful jungle. It had rest areas, clean well kept restrooms and a nice store. The animals are plenty and are being housed... More

We had a knowledgeable docent who presented 4 animals and described their "lifestyle", fate as to why they were in the Sandtuary. It is informative, casual and fun...esp. for the kids in all of us who can pet the animals.

This place was recommended to us and I'm so glad it was! A really special place where the animals and birds are genuinely cared for. Most of the animals they rescue and treat are released back into the wild where they should be. For those that don't make a full recovery, or it would be more dangerous for them in... More

This is a fabulous place for families to visit. There are lots of animals to view, some being rehabilitated, others that can't be released and so are cared for here - panthers, bears, otters, deer, snakes, turkeys, birds, birds, and more birds, gators, crocodiles, bocats, etc. The sanctuary is free to visit, but small donations are welcome to help feed... Nice to see some good, caring people in the world. Had a good time. Not a huge park but good information and interaction for donation only

Good place to take family and children to introduce them to the local wildlife of Florida. A number of native birds including wild turkeys and bald eagles. A favorite also are the 4 Florida panthers and two black bears. No charge but donations are always appreciated. If you come for Spring training baseball games this is only a mile or... More

We had a few hours to spend before our Spring Training game at Roger Dean Stadium. We were very pleasantly surprised by the variety and types of animals being cared for at the sanctuary.

Busch is a great attraction for the entire family. It is not a very big sanctuary which is nice if your hauling around kids (or old people). They have a lot of native wildlife and facts about the animals. Nice place to spend a couple of hours on a nice sunny south Florida day.
