This is a wonderful place to spend an hour or more. It's nicely shaded so it doesn't feel so hot, even in summer. There are owls, alligators, bobcats, bears, panthers, and more. The animal living areas are kept very clean. There is a place to have birthday parties there. There is an animal talk daily where you can pet skunks,... More

I love this amazing rescue sanctuary of wildlife that allows the public to come in, see the animals and teach about their natural habitats and behaviors. Some of the animals are rehabilitated and set free. And some, unfortunately, can never leave due to life long injuries that do not allow them to live in the wild. They have a great... More

Great experience for everyone - see local wildlife in natural habitat and learn about their lives, their rehab (when appropriate) and some good conservation tips too!! A favorite of Jack Hanna and a favorite of my family. Wonderful to see the care extended for injured animals and a solid education adventure for children. You can go once a week and... More

I enjoy getting the kids out of the house and they enjoy seeing the animals. Though it is alittle smelly, but that's part of the course with animals, the place is amazing to walk around and visit. They only ask for a donation and it can be as little or as much as you want to give.

This is a well kept animal sanctuary. The exhibits are clearly labeled with plenty of information on each animal. Beautiful, natural setting and trails connecting areas. The gift shop has many educational gifts and souvenirs. We return every year with our grandchildren.

Free (donations greatly appreciated). Best suited for kids with family- to see wildlife being rehabbed or living in an authentic Florida. The sanctuary is outside- don't expect a/c or bug free zone. Come prepared with bug spray, some coins to purchase animal food and be delighted. Bring your lunch to sit on a picnic bench in the shade.

This is a place I had not heard of before until a tour guide recommended it. It is well planned out and a much larger place than it looks . The array of animals is impressive and they are all well cared for. This is a piece of "old Florida " at it's best. Natural rather than glitzy. My favorite... More

Our son and daughter-in-law live in Jupiter Farms and one morning as wife and I stopped to pick up the dogs we saw a large tortoise crossing the back yard. I called the wildlife sanctuary and they said we could bring it in. It was early morning as I carried the tortoise through the wooded trails and just as I... More

Was in town for a wedding and had a couple hours to do something so we chose this Sanctuary, very close to our hotel. It was really very nice. They had panthers, bears and birds, snakes, eagles and lots of others. The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful

Happened upon this lovely spot by accident. It is free with donations. The staff is very friendly and very informative. It has a nice design so you wind through the foliage and displays as if you are in a beautiful jungle. It had rest areas, clean well kept restrooms and a nice store. The animals are plenty and are being housed... More
