We went for the afternoon, spent about 3 hours. All of the animals were out and about, got some great pics! They had a meet and greet type presentation, got to see an alligator, opossum, skunk and owl up close and personal! Very informative, the people that work there are all very friendly and know a lot about the animals... More

Free sanctuary full of FL native animals. These animals are here because they were injured and could not be released back into the wild due to the severity of their injuries. So, now they educate visitors. There are FL panthers, bears, racoons, pelicans, otters, foxes, snakes, birds, etc. The sanctuary grounds are lovely as well. It's a pleasure to walk... More

A great little find. I found the staff to be friendly and chatty. The park was incredibly clean. It was a nice small size that was easy to navigate. The had a nice variety of local animals. It was also cool with plenty of shade

Nice place to take the kids. Free donation funded. Enjoyed the walking paths to each area to see animals. Small but my kids enjoyed it and their ages 9 and 14 girls. Could easily see all the animals.

Definitely take the time to visit Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. Great location, price is right - free, and loads of animals native to Florida. My wife and I always leave a donation and bring a supply of goods that they need. Children love this sanctuary. Adults are entertained. Spend about an hour, which should be sufficient. Enjoy!!

This small sanctuary is awesome! It is great for kids because they don't have to walk too far, and they have excellent demonstrations. I love the seabird area - the longer you watch the more you see. They also have the endangered Florida black bears and Florida panthers. This sanctuary was started by one man and is completely supported by... More

Nicely laid out. Plenty of shade to spare you from the hot Florida sun. Great viewing areas. Lots of native Florida animals. Panthers and gators & bears, oh my! And there's no admission fee (but a donation is not refused). Here is a video of a trip there with our grandkids Ben & Luke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX-_KniqGf0
