This park is huge, with waterviews, picnic areas, walking trails, bike, kayak and canoe rentals and plenty of wildlife. The signage was good on the walking paths. It was quiet and beautiful with just enough people around to give you a feeling of security. Walked about 2 hours and didn't even put a dent in the available trails. There are... More

I've been to loads of parks all over the state for walking-hiking. This one is the best! The paths are well-marked, and the surrounding nature is stunning. Access is easy-- less than a mile from I-95, and plenty of parking.Since the paths are interlocking, you can walk for as long (or short) as you like.I walked for 2 hours, and... More

Bring your bike or rent one at the park, though they have a limited u beer available. You can also rent kayaks, which I haven't yet done. The park is the site of some historical battles.

While on vacation we stopped here and launched our paddle boards onto the river. We enjoyed the search for birds and turtles camouflaged on the banks of the river.
