I love being able to right my bike to the park. Miles of wooded trails. Early morning or near dusk, there are deer around and plenty of local birds. Take a kayak out on the river and enjoy the hammock, and probably get up close and personal with a gator. Ok,not THAT close. Very peaceful.

The park runs from Indiantown Rd. south to the Loxahatchee Slough. It is laced with a network of bike /walking trails, and offers canoe rentals.

One of the best surprises in Jupiter. On our last visit, we saw deer, turkeys, alligators, owls, nesting birds & walked with a family of sandhill cranes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9qP-oqA8Ds Miles of hiking, biking & horseback trails. Trails are well marked so even if this is your 1st visit, you won't get lost. Maps (with the famous 'you are here' marking)... More

Love the trails for biking or hiking, the waterways by canoe or kayak, plenty of picnic areas for the ideal family day. Plenty of wild life such as wild turkeys among many others.

This park is great for hiking, biking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, picnicking and just enjoying nature. I live close and don't spend enough time here. Herds of deer and flocks of turkey make evenings special. A plus is the section of Florida Trail that runs north out of the park to the river.

There are over 35 miles of walking and bicycling trails in this park. There are no domestic pets allowed as there is wildlife all around, in their natural habitat. There are no vehicles allowed in the park.

I have taken two one hour walks in this park, both on different trails and saw deer, beautiful trees, river, foliage and birds. We went early in the morning before it was hot and the birds were chirping. We noticed nice areas to picnic and a place to rent canoes. We also thought the next time we might bring our... More

This is the best park in the area and it's free. It is a great place for a bike ride or a long walk or run. There are many firm shell rock trails and it is easy to get turned around the first few times you visit without a map. They also have canoe and kayak rentals for going down... More

After reserving five kayaks for a river trip at this location we were super excited about getting a taste of the Florida waterways. Upon arrival we were met by the rudest man possible. He was rude to everyone he dealt with. He was very impatient and did not want to give us any service or information about the trip and... More
