This great park was once the scene of a bloody battle between United States troops and the seminole Indians. The park is free there's canoeing there's history there's lush long trails and interesting wildlife to enjoy. Picnic tables and swimming in this wonderful old Florida Park. Enjoy

Riverbend offers everything in Florida except the beach. I love this park for anything from hiking and biking to picnicking and fishing. One of the most beautiful parks in S. Florida. Trails, tiki huts and lush flora and wildlife.

My husband and I wanted to rent a canoe for the day, but when we got there they were all out - no bummer though because they had plenty of bikes left to rent! We decided that would be fine and less of a worry about tipping over LOL. The guy at Canoe Outfitters (where you get the rentals) was... More

Beautiful and serene place to bring out of town guest. Great running location...if rainy parking can get muddy!

Nice clean park. We had a surprise party in one of the pavilions. We did not reserve on in advance but there were many to chose from. Next time I look forward to canoeing around the river. It looks so nice and peaceful. Lots of families and it was a nice quiet park.

This was my second kayak trip with the girls, and boy, I was not disappointed. The first half of the 8-mile trip started at Riverbend and meandered through a beautiful canopy of oaks, pond cypress, and flowers and fauna. It was like traveling through the "land that time forgot." I almost expected monkeys to leap from the trees! The highlight... More

Been there several times, it's a nice kayaking adventure. It's a smooth ride, with a great view. From the 5 times I've been there I've seen gators 4 times, turtle several. It's pretty fun, I've you like outdoors visit this place.

We travel by RV so we can cover a lot of territory without backtracking. We bring our own bikes and kayaks and thus do not depend on places being open or convenient rentals. This river is a very easy one to navigate with or without the map. It meanders along and requires minimum effort so beginners would like it. Turtles,... More

Not far off the interstate, and out from Jupiter, Fl. Great walking and biking trails. Also places to kayak and canoe. We even saw an alligator (well away from walking trails), plenty of birds and no problem with bugs or other pests. We walked about 5-6 miles both times we visited and had a great time
