Been there several times, it's a nice kayaking adventure. It's a smooth ride, with a great view. From the 5 times I've been there I've seen gators 4 times, turtle several. It's pretty fun, I've you like outdoors visit this place.

We travel by RV so we can cover a lot of territory without backtracking. We bring our own bikes and kayaks and thus do not depend on places being open or convenient rentals. This river is a very easy one to navigate with or without the map. It meanders along and requires minimum effort so beginners would like it. Turtles,... More

Not far off the interstate, and out from Jupiter, Fl. Great walking and biking trails. Also places to kayak and canoe. We even saw an alligator (well away from walking trails), plenty of birds and no problem with bugs or other pests. We walked about 5-6 miles both times we visited and had a great time

I went to Riverbend Park with the same intent that I go to every park in Florida - I want to put my camera to use and capture a few really good landscape and wildlife photos. Riverbend Park didn't really give me either of those, put it did make me see a place that every family in the area should... More

the river is beautiful and there are kayaks and canoes for rent.. there are a couple small waterfalls-- the first is easily navigated going downstream (we didn't get to the second). But upstream the dock ramp where you portage your kayak/canoe is too steep -- getting out and getting back in -- and we capsized trying to get back down... More

I kayaked here last week. I saw lots of birds, turtles, and gators. Great workout but not too challenging if you are in decent shape. Absolutely quiet and beautiful surroundings. Seeing the gators was so cool. Best kayak trip I have ever taken in PBC - cant wait to go again!

We read such wonderful reviews of this park that we had to see it for ourselves. During the time we were in Jupiter, we completed the trifecta: we rented a canoe, hiked the trails and rented bikes. My favorite? Hard to say as we saw something different every time. The canoe ride on the Loxahatchee River was peaceful and so... More

We spent last Sunday morning at the park, walking for about three hours and never getting tired of the plants, trees, animals etc. a wonderful experience. The trees are amazing,
