As usual I was the first one here when they opened so my tour group consisted of me & a couple. Great, I hate crowds. The guides were very freindly and answered every question, very informative. Amazing view of the Loxahatchee River and Jupiter Inlet Colony (including Tiger Woods' house). Nice museum and wonderful tour guides at a minimal cost. more

My kids and I went to tour the lighthouse. The cost was minimal and the experience great. However, you will have to be able to climb 105 stairs. There are several (unprotected) windows to look out at the 3 landings as you are walking up. Not only is the view spectacular but it was a much needed break. (climb 25... more

Wear tennis shoes to climb--they don't let you go up in flip flops, etc. Carry your camera in a pocket so hands are free to climb. They ask you tou lock large bags in the car. 5/03 found the Jupiter Inlet lighthouse, paid for a tour (last one leaves 3:15pm) and climbed about 105 steps to the top. Wear shorts with a pocket to put your camera in while you climb. Had to wear tennis shoes & leave fanny pack in the car (new security since 9/11). Beautifully restored oil house with historical pics inside. Lovely... more
