This is a wonderful place to to take walks and enjoy a pleasant day. The lake is lovely. The walkways are great. Cooter turtle statue is beautiful. If you can visit the Cooter Festival in the fall, it's great fun. More

While this park doesn't really have much to it, it is loaded with spanish moss draped oak trees everywhere that are beautiful. The trees make the whole place a great shaded canopy. I guess there were some indians here once? They have built a stockade about 12 feet long and give speeches there. Seems like some soldiers were stuck there one winter and killed all the indians that came to the lake. Can't say much else about the woods, nothing to see or do here. More
