We were down visiting my inlaws and we went on this excursion--4 adults, 2 kids ages 10 and 12. It was very interesting to learn about the beautiful manatees and then go on a relaxing boat ride to see them. I appreciated how passionate and respectful the owners of the company were regarding the manatees and educating us in how... More

Highly recommended...Once in a lifetime opportunity. I recommend snorkeling with the Manatees, so great to see them in the wild and almost intimidating to see them in person in the water swimming by. This snorkel tour is located directly across the road from the huge manatee at the Wildlife refuge. Went on this tour on a "busier" day (middle Feb.)... More

This is a great boardwalk experience. Went there 2/7/15. Saw plenty of snorkelers, kayaking, boarders, and looky loos. Amazing to watch. Cold weather drives the manatees into the 72 degree springs. Took pictures of the sleeping mom's with calfs. There is a fee for the boardwalk as it is accessible only by park bus. No drive in area at this... More

One of my daughter's dreams was to swim with the manatees in Florida. We finally made it to Florida in February and had booked the trip with this business. We found the business using Google, and booked the tour online. Be prepared for not a lot of good feedback after booking (the only weak point of the whole experience), but... More

Been out to see Manatees in the wild in the past - nothing like this time. Captain Thomas was an outstanding person and captain. We had our 91 year old mother along and she got to see manatees in the wild for the first time. Not only manatees but 100's of manatees. Must have been an exceptional day on the... More

We had the opportunity to go snorkelling in October 2014. In October it is early season so it was fairly quiet and we were lucky to have a Captain who knew where to look! It was a fascinating glimpse into the manatee world and we loved every minute of it! Our Captain - Erica - was very knowledgeable and amenable.... More

I took my sister on this snorkeling with the manatees trip for her fiftieth birthday. We brought our own snorkeling stuff and rented the wetsuits. I have to say, it was WONDERFUL!!! The water was clear with the rays of the sun shining down through it and we saw many, many of these beautiful creatures, some of whom interacted with... More

After searching for the "right" Manatee Tour we decided to go with Captain Gene and doing the Homosassa tour. Pivotal were the facts that there are only 6 people on the boat, that the company is known for substainability and consideration concerning Manatees and their surroundings and the Homosassa area is less crowded. And we were not disappointed and had... More

We went at the beginning of January and were a little worried about the water temp---it wasn't an issue. We had a great time learned a bunch about the manatee conservation in the area and loved riding by "monkey island" on the way out and way back. Enjoyed hanging out with the baby manatee which seemed a little more inquisitive... More

Yeah the water is always 72 degrees in the springs all year, feels warm in the cooler months. We offer a bit more than others and although the price might be a few dollars more than others we provide a more secluded and fun filled tour. Mostly education toppled with fun and excitement . Curious? Come see for you and... More
