This was the perfect adventure to do with my 6 year old son. Very well organized and professional, but yet friendly Captain. I will definitely be a return customer. Gorgeous day swimming with manatees ...what more could I ask for?!

Snorkeling with the manatees in Homosassa was so neat. We took a boat out on the river and anchored where manatees usually swim. We pretty much got in the water and a couple of manatees came swimming up to us in minutes. They rolled over for belly rubs and then would swim away. You can't provoke them in any way.... More

I was so excited to have an opportunity to try this, but had no idea what to expect. Captain Gene and all of the staff were professional but friendly, as well as knowledgeable and protective of the safety of the manatees. They only take out small groups (no more than 6 people at a time) so as to insure a... More

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We booked and paid in full in May. Got there for our swim to be told we weren't booked in. On showing them our email confirmation they admitted it was their mistake, but said they couldn't refund us, only offer a rain check (and were rather rude and arrogant about... More

Hi And thank you for your review. We extend our apologies for the over booking, and with over bookings we never keep the monies or issue rain checks. However it is clearly stated on our website on the Vacation page of how to book one of our vacation packages. However some folks get really excited about this encounter and don't... More

Capt. Gene looked far and wide on a dull grey day. We spotted some Manatee's and got to swim with them. I was closer than I thought when I reviewed my video. A great day out despite the rain later. Advice to others - don't be tight with your wallet, hire a wetsuit as we did. Others didn't and felt... More

Hi guys and thank you for your review, yes, Captain Gene really loves his work. Starting in early October the waters tend to be a little chilly, so a wetsuits is recommended from the 1st of October until the first part of June. Captain Blain More

It wasn't a great weather day, the water was murky and it's the summer. All bad news for finding manatees . But, our stalwart captain Laura found one and what an experience. These animals are really large and ,at times, their sheer size is intimidating. But they are so docile. He or she tolerated these 2 legged pests really well.... More

Thanks for your review, yes the summer months can be a little different. But we always have a good time. Remember that winter months is the best time for many manatees but the summer months are a blast also, we just spend more time on the boat looking. Captain Blain More

We had a wonderful trip this July 2014. Captain Laura took such good care of us & was so sweet and knowledgable to talk to. For almost the entire trip, we did not see any manatees. We enjoyed boating around the beautiful water anyway. Manatees were hard to spot, because it had just rained & that made the water not... More

Thank you for your review. We try very hard at providing a great manatee encounter, bu there are days when the manatees make up our minds for us. Keep in mind that the summer months can really test our skills. Captain Blain More

This trip was a disaster for me, the wife, and our 3 kids. After driving up 2.5 hours up from Sarasota expecting to have a fun time swimming with the Manatees, to our surprise we ended up trolling around in murky water for nearly 3 hours in the hot sun with no Manatee encounters. In the Summer, the water is... More

My husband wanted to see Manatees while visiting FL. I found this snorkel trip & booked it before we left. What a treat! We not only got to see, them, but we also got to swim with them! Went snorkeling in the "off season"....end of May. Many of the Manatees had migrated out to the ocean, but there were "resident... More

Hi guys, and thank you for your review. The warmer months can be fun also, we dont have as many manatees here during this time of year, May - September. Again with our tours, we only take 6 passengers per boat, so this allows us to have a great encounter everyday. Captain Blain More
