It is a public beach with lifeguards . Alot of seaweed due to recent storms but overall a nice beach . More

I'm not a big beach fan, but Hollywood beach is great. On the weekends there is even a dog beach in the northern part. Way to go!!! More

LOVE the broadwalk where you can walk/run/jog/bike for miles and miles! The beach is lovely, with public rest rooms and faucets/showers to rinse off before you leave...though the chair/cabana rentals are overpriced. It's lively at all hours of the day & night...lots of restaurants, bars cafes etc. More

Closest to a southern Spain style beach than anywhere in Florida. No autos or a street between the beach and the restaurants and bars. There's the beach, the broadwalk and the restaurants and bars. Very clean & upbeat beach area. I love the shops that are right on the beach. It feels like a place in wonderland.
