Hi Could i ask you a question? We will be staying at the tides condos for two/three months next year May to July. We have two one year old girls and I am just wondering how easy it is to get around etc. We will have a car but do you know if it is easy enough to walk to... more

My girlfriends and I are locals and go every Sunday evening for some relaxation. There is meter parking for a $1 an hr, max. 4hrs. We go in the eveings for better parking but it's never a hassle. There are plenty of boardwalk eats with views of the beautiful blue ocean and there are live music performances every week! can't... more

I've been here twice. Once to the northern part where Hooters and the bigger eating/drinking establishments are. It was ok, good place to walk for a bit, listen to some live music or bad karaoke, drink and people watch. The second time was to the less crowded southern portion. There were the usual touristy shops and small overpriced eateries. There's... more

We were expecting a clean beach and ocean water due to the blue wave designation but were disappointed with the amount of trash, litter, and cigarette butts in the sand and floating in the water. We have been to many other Florida beach areas and have never seen this much. Don't understand why since there are trash receptacles everywhere, there... more

Has convenient store in lobby, lots of shops, bars , restaurants, pool, right on boardwalk and beach. Great location. Youcan walk for miles and take in all the restaurants and bars on the boardwalk. Nats is hiddem gem... more

As the others have stated I could only feel that this is a place whose current ambience cannot last. To have such a beautiful beachfront area basically directed at the middle class, in this day and age, is a rare find. Others certainly will be driven to make it more upscale and generic and you can see the signs that... more

Hollywood Beach and Broadwalk has turned out to be the "perfect get-away" for me, and I am excitedly waiting until I can go back! I fist disovered this area on the Internet while browsing for a place to stay "near" the beach. Much to my surprise, I fould out that I could actually stay at a reasonable, clean, family-run motel... more

While there are many beaches in South Florida to walk along, I have found that I enjoy the Boardwalk at Hollywood Beach. The boardwalk is wide and paved with a seperate lane for bikes/roller blades. On the beach side of the boardwalk are palm trees and showers every block to wash the sand off. On the street side are collection... more

The Hollywood Beachfront extends nearly from the end of Dania Beach Blvd south to Halandale Beach Blvd. Along A1A N & S between those two blvds. include high rise hotels (Westin Diplomat Oceanfront Resort, Trump Tower, and several condotels.....which line about 1/2 mile from Halandale Beach Blvd toward the north. After this short high rise section (past just about the... more
