This is truly a wonderful spot to visit. Truly a nature park. HOWEVER, do not leave ANYTHING in your vehicle that can be seen. You run the risk of theft. Sorry for the delay in posting this - I had to choose a 2014 month for the date of my visit. Although this occurred in 2013, I feel it is... More

This is a lovely place just minutes away from Hollywood beach. Mangrove trees, a lake, trails, and the center. The stuff are polite and helpful. Went on a short boat ride. Lots of birds and other wildlife to see. Wonderfully maintained trails, lots of parking space. I wish the boat ride was longer.

There are a few trails here, ranging in length from a quarter mile to over two miles. They provide good exercise and views. One takes you to West Lake. Another takes you to fishing spots on the Intracoastal Waterway. I learned, from my recent visit to this park, that the five-story observation tower was temporarily closed. When it reopens, it'll... Anne Kolb Nature Center offers a way to experience the true nature of South Florida. Tiny Lizards everywhere, abundant waterfowl, and lots to see along the stretch of Mangroves.

We headed over to the Anne Kolb Nature Center one morning after breakfast. We really enjoyed walking the trails and seeing the sites. There was a lot of florida wildlife to see. If you are looking for a relaxing walk in a quiet setting give it a try.

I love this place! I have taken my grandkids there many times because I think it's a great learning experience. The is a small fee to enter the exhibit hall and it's worth it. The grounds are nice and you can experience nature and learn how the Eco System plays a big role in the survival of various species. There... More

I would recommend visiting when it is below 90 degrees. Otherwise, it is way too hot. Pretty surroundings with a nice observation tower that even has elevator access.

How many times have you driven by and ignored the sign identifying the nature center? Stop in and get the insights on our local species and environment. Learn a little about the Eco systems in our neighborhood and how they have served residents of Broward for centuries. Plenty of hands on, active exhibits for the kids to enjoy and experience.... I have always been interested in seeing what was located at the Anne Kolb Nature Center and finally was in the area and had time to visit. The bonuses are Entrance to the park and parking is free, use of the fishing piers is free, and use of the nature trails are free. The boardwalk trails wind through a beautiful... More
