Stopped by while killing some time before our flight and couldn't have been more pleased! Nice trails, lots of wildlife - can't ask for more.

We made a quick trip to Anna Kolb (were pressed for time) but the hour that we were there I was very impressed. Nice exhibits, visitors center, boardwalk trails, observation tower... We saw Mangrove Tree Crabs, a couple of butterflies (including the Florida state butterfly), lizards and an iguana. Very nice place, would definitely come back and spend more time.

Love to visit here and walk the walkways out to the lake and to the inter coastal. The museum is very interesting. One of these days I will take the boat ride they offer and go kayaking. One of the first places I visited when I moved here 10 years ago.

You get back to nature here. The nature center has great educational items. You can go across to rent a kayak or canoe and navigate the wetland waterway trails or go into West Lake or out to the Intercoastal Waterway. A great way to spend a day.

They charge $2 to tour the few exhibits, and it's on your own - no one in the building. Walk out to the observations decks - no idea of what to look for or at - all unmanned. No boat tours. Very few staff.

Excellent tour of mangrove ecosystem. Awesome boat ride and best exhibit of shells and marine life in museum. Tower has elevator. Picnic tables. Look out for mangrove crabs that live in trees! Also popping shrimp at low tide. Nearby able to rent kayaks and do one of 4 trails.

It's a quiet place but still, there always somebody either riding a bike or running in the trails. That scare animals away. I visit the place trying to get some good birds or any other animals shots. I got some good shots but it took me around 3 hours to find 3 birds! We have other parks around Hollywood like... More

Take the tour boat ride and have the guide tell you all about the center and how they are protecting the waterway, animals, and plant life. A beautiful getaway in the midst of all the hustle and bustle!

This is a nice little oasis in the middle of the city. Two boardwalk trails with a gazebo on the lake, a look-out tower (with an elevator!) that overlooks the entire park, and canals. We took a boat tour for $5 apiece which lasted about a half hour, and takes you through some of the canals and onto the lake.... More

Loved this gem! There is a lake there where you can rent paddle boats and kayaks. Hiking boardwalks take you out to some great viewing stations on the inland waterway. A two story observation tower provides a great overall view of the surrounding area. We also saw racoons in the trees! Fun! Be sure to see the exhibits; watch the... More
