lots of nice programs here

This is a nice place to visit with the family on a rainy day. There are a lot of nice exhibits, performances and programs and the building itself is very interesting.

We were fortunate enough to go on the day of an artist talk. We enjoyed the exhibits and met the director, Joy, who made a point of showing some people how this museum came to be built. She was very helpful and informative. The entire staff go out of their way to be helpful. I am looking forward to the... More

This is a pleasant, but not particularly memorable art museum in downtown Hollywood, Florida. There was a couple of rooms of apparently local art, no one famous. If you happen to be in the area, you might want to check it out.

Thank you so much for visiting us and for taking time to write a review! We're sorry you weren't happy with the exhibits we were offering at the time of your visit. Yes, we are a small gallery, but we offer a bevy of local as well as national contemporary artists in our five gallery spaces. Our shows change every... More

This is a wonderful spot in the midst of chaos to find some culture in Southern Florida. There are numerous antique places, charming bistros, hearty restaurants and clothing stores with edgy themes to them. It is not run of mill and offers a chance to get away from the beach mentality of places close to the water. I really enjoy... More

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood was a great find for us. We spent 2 delightful hours taking in Wayne White’s Art is Supposed to Hypnotize You or Something, Douglas Hoekzema’s Terrain, Rob Tufnells’s LSD Project and works of art prepared by young, local artists. The center is reasonably priced, has available parking adjacent to its building, affords visitors... More

Art and Culture Center is very clean, clean facilities, modern, and good staff. But the facility takes on the ambiance of the exhibition. Rock ' N' Old sounds like me. The attraction has a vast collection of songs "from every genre" that are hooked up to severs (monitors) for you to listen. The art collection is record slipcovers. Some are... More

We strolled into the Arts and Culture Center on an overcast day. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about the property. We really enjoyed the exhibits. The center is within walking distance of bars, shops, and restaurants and is a must-see!

Just spent an enjoyable afternoon admiring the current exhibition, In Pieces, at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. What an impressive representation of Nathan Sawaya's ever expanding body of work. I have seen two of his previous three exhibitions, presented by the center, and this work offers the most contemplative revelations into the artist's genius. Collaborations by creative minds... Was really excited to take the kids to finally see Nathaniel Sawaya and so we did. His work is amazing. However it was a little disappointing as there was like 10 pieces of at work displayed. Btw the entrance to such a small exibit should not cost soo much. It was 2 adults and 2 kids $32. I would not have... More
