Our first trip to TY Park -- had no idea how big and how many things like swimming, fishing, tennis, nature walk, playground ........... all just west of 95 on Sheridan. Weekdays are free, weekend $1.50. Great place to have special event, bbq, outing, or just relax and look at the peaceful view.

There is a sense of peace and tranquility that envelopes you when you pass through the guard booths and arrive into the tree lined entrance. The beautiful lake and nicely paved walking paths motivate me to exercise. There are many kinds of wildlife enjoying their natural habitat. There are large grassy fields for running or playing. There is also a water... More

We stayed in a motorhome, very nice space, good electric...sewer at the end of site so need very long hose. Convenient location. Close to train, but was not bothersome to us. Would stay again.

This is a great park, walking trails, a water park on a big lake with plenty of spots to rent and have a party. Take a walk along the water and use a small grill or just sit and watch the wildlife. This place has a water park, paddle boat or kayak rentals and a trailer park where you can... More

Beautiful local park! We stopped here before our flight home to let the kids burn off some steam. We were hoping that the amazing waterpark was open but unfortunately it was only open on weekends. The park is free during the week but there is a fee on weekends. The playground was great and covered, so lots of shade :)... More

I have been going to this park since the early 80's. It has grown so much over the past 20 + years. It's beautiful, clean, safe and a lot of fun for the entire family. You can rent a pavilion and have a huge family party or reunion. Tons of amenities for everyone. The camp ground is amazing and the... More

If you have kids I suggest you go here, take a picnic as there is nowhere hand to buy food. The day I went it was overcast with a few showers, plenty of covered place just to sit and relax

Growing up in Hollywood I took quite a few school trips to this park. If you like the outdoors but still want to access a Starbucks within 5 minutes this is your place. It's in the middle of the city but has that "outdoors" feel.

Came here because of the lake, fountain, birds and the large lizards. Looks as though during the summer, this park has more to offer as in boats, canoes, kayaks.

This park is the preferred place for those looking for a better place than a gym. It's also full of birthday parties on weekends. All this makes the park to urban for my taste. Too noisy and less about nature. Still, you can shoot some good pictures there.
