Lots to Explore!

This is a well laid out city park with activities for all ages. We ended up checking out the art museum with an exhibit of Diego Barboza.

A one of a kind park in the middle of an intersection with something for everybody. There is an art museum. A children's water park, weekly events, such as a food truck night. Live concerts, free of charge. Art events, classes, a regular park, Bring a blanket, your picnic basket and listen to the music under the stairs

I love Baobab trees, and I can see it without spend tones of money going to Madagascar or Africa. Good park for the locals with few good restaurants, bars, and clubs near by. Good photo opps in day and night as well. All you need is couple of hours to enjoy.

This is a beautiful, well maintained park on Hollywood Blvd, just to the east of the main business district. There are often concerts, movies, and other events. Monday nights are Food Truck nights with 20 or more trucks to chose from. In addition there is Hollywood Hot Glass, a studio where you can watch glass blowers in action, purchase finished... More

Monday food trucks are expensive. Need to eat at least 2 meals. Expect to spend $20 or so. Friday afternoons nice with kids. Homeless hide out for most part so not a problem.

Each year, we make a bee line for Arts Park on a Monday evening. On those nights, the Miami Food Trucks are lined up. There are 20-30 trucks, each with a different style of food. Each one is more delicious than the next. We eat at around 9 am on Monday, and then starve until we get to the park.... More

It's not just a park that is there to enjoy if you feel like going to a park, but one that hosts a variety of events. We participated in a HUGE drum event there several years ago and they have movies and other events there for families to enjoy. It's not just about playing in the water. :)
