Great Park

What a great idea this park is. It is downtown Hollywood in the circle and there is always something to do and see at this park.

We went down to the historic area early so we could explore the "quaint " shops before dinner. Not sure the definition of Quaint...but we barely saw any shops let alone call them quaint. We'd planned on 2 hours of shopping, and after 20 minutes walking around thinking... They must be around the corner on the next block...we decided to... More

this park is very cute, it almost feels like you are in the woods, yet there are restaurants and bars 2 minutes away. it is great for families, kids, couples and pets. feels like a tiny quite part of Central Park. you can bring a blanket, grab an ice-cream and enjoy the company of your significant half under a tree,... You would think they would have much better control of the homeless always begging for money as you walk with your kids through the park. You're always afraid of muggers HORRIBLE!

This area is crowded with tourists. It is accessed from Harrison Avenue and Hollywood boulevard. There is a giant Publix Supermarket. You also have a grand Italian restauranct called Mama Mia. You have a Fed Ex there and many other restaurants. They have concerts on weekends in the park and a flea market during the week.

Nice park but lacks warmth, I don't know if it's just too big or that it never has enough people in it or maybe both, but it doesn't do it for me.
