Went there with some friends on a Sunday afternoon,I was surprise to find more people than I expected this was once a very busy racetrack they need to revamp it but I still had a good time.

What an experience and trying to keep up with all that was going on. Had a nice time and would recommend to others to visit the Racetrack.

This was once a Hialeah Miami Hotspot pulling in trainloads of tourists from as far away as Palm Beach . Today , its a dump with Homeless people ,sleeping on or near the grounds. There are many rumors of casinos, and racing coming soon but I think its all talk

After a long time with no activities, the Hialeah Racetrack is open again. I have not visited since it re-opened, but I remember a luxury clubhouse, and taking my daughter to Sunday brunch in the 70's to see the horses training. It is a landmark in Hialeah, but I prefer Gulfstream.

I grew up near Hialeah Race Track & loved watching the horses run on my days off. Hialeah is a Historic Landmark in South Florida, and first opened in 1921. Hialeah is the most beautiful racetrack in the entire world. The palms, flowers, landscaping and fountains are only seen in exotic parks. It is a shame that races are not held there anymore.
