Amelia Earhart Park s one of the largest parks in Dade County, and the largest in Hialeah. There are lakes, horseback riding trails, hiking/jogging trails, lots of foliage for wildlife, and large open areas of grass for recreational activities. This is a very big park, it is a 5-acre park with walkways, lakes, pony rides and more. There are plenty of areas where to do picnics, birthday parties, they have a petting zoo, there’s where to ride bicycles or just walk around. We visited this park for years, since its inauguration; it was a great place where to go... More

I attended the Trojan mud race on Saturday October 11th 2014 at Amelia Earhart park in Hialeah, Florida. Overall I love the mud race competition. It was very challenging, competitive, and it was a lot of fun as well. The onky thing that's keeping it from getting an excellent rating is the fact that registration for the event at the... More

I just would like to clear something out...there is NOOOO Beach...Lakes yes but not a beach you can swim in. They have signs all over letting visitors know this. They have had fatal accidents because of kids trying to swim in these lakes...So I just wanted to make it clear to anyone visiting :) besides the lack of a beach... More

It could be a great place to spend leisure time with family & friends but I find it lack of charm, it needs more landscaping work
