Diamondback is closed. The bank shut it down in May 2014. It was a great course. Hope someone buys it. Grenelefe's 2 courses are across the street.

This is a very fun course with lots of options to go for the green if you are a big hitter. If you hook or slice a lot then plan to lose a lot of balls but that is part of the challenge of the game. The clubhouse is the only part of it that lacks a 5 star appearance... More

As with many small businesses, bad management and lack of paying customers doomed this once great gem of a golf course. European golfers please take note before your travel to glorious Haines City. If in the area, try out Southern Dunes, or Del Webbs Ridgewood Lakes or even Providence Golf and Country Club in the Davenport area.

We are regulars to this course. Looking at little sad this year and disappointing on the greens. However interesting holes and less manufactured than other local courses. This is cheap golf in between the hefty fees on Dysney courses. We love it, great staff on reception.

What was once a beautiful golf course is now horrible. Lack of cars in parking lot should have warned us..... Started out by booking our time for 2 groups. We get there, no bag drop, no cart person and was told by shop staff any cart will do. We go to pay and were told they have aerated the greens,... More

A tight and interesting layout that has potential, but unfortunately the course has been neglected. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens are desperate need of irrigation. Rumour seems to indicate that the golf course is in financial trouble which is unfortunate, since the course would benefit immensely from a capital infusion.

It is a tight and challenging course. I booked it on golfnow.com at $41 plus the golfnow fee. It would have been far better if the greens were better. The front nine had some greens that were 50% gone with new grass seed. The back nine had one green in particular that was 90% dead. The last three holes surround... More

The course itself is a very good test of golf, which deserves better care. The condition of the course(especially the greens,if they can be called that) is deplorable, the worst I have ever seen in Florida. We paid $38 to play which felt like robbery! Will never go back, when there are so many other courses in good condition in... More

This course is always on our list when visiting Orlando. It is quite a drive from the Disney area. The course is in need of some work, mostly the greens. Not sure why they are not given the attention they deserve, the course itself is a great layout and very challenging - with narrow fairways that force straight drives, waste... More

I really wish I could report differently, but I definately would not recommend this course right now. The greens are in terrible shape. With decent greens, I would recommend. Comfortable place. Some tight fairways. No recovery if you hit into the woods. Price was right. A little too far from Orlando. But stay away until the greens recover.
