This is a South Dade institution! You must stop by! We also walk away with jars of fresh salsa, jellies, breads (strawberry or banana) and the ice cream is smooth and heavenly. They have a new patio/garden area where you can eat in now, love it! Bring the kids and make an afternoon of visiting Burr's. And don't leave empty...

Nice break if traveling south and need a refreshing shake. About a mile west from exit 11 (216 st) from turnpike south. On the same road to Monkey Jungle.

They have delicious shakes. So delicious we actually considered driving back an hour another day during our vacation to go back. Must stop here...

I used to love driving down here to get a shake or a sundae and also to buy some berries. But the prices are too high now.
