Seen some good shows here. Staff is very nice, they have some good actors. Best thing of all show your student ID and get a discount. Good thing to do on a night there is nothing to do.

So, we're walking down the street after dinner and see the theatre and I say "Hey let's go in and see the show". What a great idea that was. There's not a bad seat in the place. The show was funny and entertaining. We saw Slasher. We would definitely return again.

Every show I've seen here, you feel like you are right on stage. It is quite an experience. There is not a bad seat in the house. Many productions have questionable language and innuendos, but the acting is great.

Always great seats and the venue is worth the visit. Lots of great places to eat in "downtown" Gainesville to make going to the theatre and a night out.

The theater area is small, so some performances have to be reduced greatly to fit within the stage. The theater down below is fairly neat. Overall it's a nice experience, but I prefer other venues for full on plays.

This is an excellent theatre. NO "bad" seats in the house. We have enjoyed MANY shows. The theatre is in a very unique historical building and you will really enjoy a "look around". Theatre is right in "downtown" Gainesville, lots of great places to eat at before the show.

Located in an old historical federal building that once housed the post office, the Hippodrome offers first-rate plays upstairs and interesting art/foreign films on the first floor. The settings are intimate and culturally sophisticated. We've enjoyed both live theater and films. A bar offers popcorn, drinks and snacks and the lobby often has fun local art on display.
