This museum, located next to the FL Museum of Natural History, is on a smallish scale, but it packs a LOT of art. Everything from sculptures to paintings/drawings, to photography. Great place to visit. More

Some of the art is "Freestyle" art that seems a bit of a push, but a lot of it is interesting. So if you feel like looking at some beautiful art, depressing art, and having a laugh a good place to go. More

I kept being surprised that this beautiful small museum had such famous artists. It is a great place to see all different genre of art without the exhaust size of other museums. See a Monet, a Warhol,a Rodin up close. Lots of Moms were showing their preschoolers art this day. What a fresh way to enjoy art, well displayed. More

They always have new exhibits and if you are an art lover, like myself, I highly recommend going by. There is no cover charge. And even better, I hear they are opening a new wing with simply Asian art. More

Loved the contemporary arts section and the photography exhibits. I made notes of the artworks that I liked and followed up by surfing. The theme for the photography exhibition was Workers, and it is a excellent representation of history. The exhibition is free. More

Initially, I thought the little town of Gainesville wouldn't have much of a museum, but we were pleasantly surprised. The museum is easily accessible and the art was displayed well. There were some artists displayed that I wouldn't think would be available here, but they were! We enjoyed this museum and are very happy it is available to the community.... More
