It is a good visit and tour guides are available. It is small but a good break in the day. Don't miss the gift shop !!! Many artists work available for purchase.

The Harn is exactly what you expect from an Art Museum. It has a wide variety of collections, and therefore can appeal to a broad audience. I particularly enjoyed the exhibits involving taxidermy and was thrilled to find out that the Harn has a Monet on display. Even without being a huge fan of Monet's style, I was still struck... More

One of the largest university art museums in the country. A real treasure for the city of Gainesville and for the University of Florida students.

I am a very frequent visitor to the Harn Museum. It's a beautiful spot, especially the Asian wing, which is a tranquil experience. Their collection is varied and interesting with changing shows frequently. We are very fortunate to have it in Gainesville.

Great stop off point in a visit to Gainesville. There is no admission charge to the museum -- just give what you like. A large variety of art and periods covered and an interesting store. I

Place has some decent art for being affiliated with a university. It's maybe on par with other art museums from universities I've seen, but it's interesting to gander through on a day when you just want to get out and do something. We wandered in after going to the Natural History Museum next door.

Great atmosphere. Great art. And best of all.... Free! Where else can you go and see a real Monet for free? Right next door to the natural history museum which is also free. These two places are a must do when in Gainesville!

Amazing museum for such a small community. Some very famous pieces, Miro, Picasso, etc. Beautiful architecture with Zen garden and outside areas. Directly next to natural history museum which is also free.
