I love to walk through the museum and view the art. For a small museum they have a very impressive collection.

There is a good, varied collection in a beautiful space. It's free. Well worth an hour or so. Great gift shop too

The museum has great collections, and they have a free evening once a month that is a great introduction. They have resources for children, including a learning room, so you can go as a family and have something for everyone.

What a wonderful museum and resource. Interesting and diverse rotating exhibits and permanent collections. Their photography collection is top notch. Plus if you need to take a break from all that art and beauty, the cafe is surprisingly good.

The Harn Museum of Art is one of the largest art museums in the Southeast housing over six thousand works in it’s permanent collection which focus on Asian, African, modern and contemporary art. The museum has lots to see without being too large and there is various gardens and outdoor exhibits: the Bob and Nancy Magoon Garden and the beautiful... More

There were several exhibits, but photography is my thing. They have a great display of photos from the mid-1800s until present day. It brought back some great memories for me growing up here, as well as showing how things were before my time. The other exhibits were interesting as well. And there is a Zen garden which was nice change... More

The Harn Museum is a wonderful place to visit by yourself or with your older children. My college age daughters have had to visit several times and write papers based on exhibits. we usually go as a family just to see the new exhibits. There are pieces from all over the world. We especially enjoyed the photography exhibit in black... More

Such a nice exhibit and an enjoyable place to go on a rainy day, a very hot afternoon or when you want to enjoy an afternoon with a friend. The impressionist exhibit was beautiful, as are many of the permanent exhibits. It was interesting to see the Monets and view the paintings up close, then from a distance. Every time... More

We visited on the last weekend of a special exhibit on Monet and American impressionism. It was a very good exhibit bringing out Monet's influence with nice examples. However the lighting was irritating with some strong shadows present, quite unusual to see in an art museum. In their general works they seem to have a really nice pottery collection but... More
