Enjoy a delightful visit to The Thomas Center. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is a beautifully restored Mediterranean Revival-style hotel. Stroll through the lovely gardens and view the art in the two galleries. You can experience the past through the 1920’s period rooms and local history exhibits. Listen to the interesting history of the property and the Thomas Family with a free cell phone tour.

This is a center for the performing arts. The seating is awesome and I've watched numerous performances over the years, mainly the symphony.

I took my children to Thomas Center for an outdoor performance of The Wizard of OZ! The center was beautiful, from the architecture to the fountains to the groundskeeping. My children loved it, and so did I. Looking forward to more events at the Thomas Center! Lovely gem in Gainesville.

Once the home to SantaFe College and now a Gainesville Gem you will enjoy a cultural experience! There is also more history to the Center you'll have to discover on your own!

Lots of weddings here - good bit of the Thomas family's history and how they came to settle in Gainesville. Good trip for older kids or teens who need to write a report on FL history sites. Beautiful grounds for pictures and weddings.

The Thomas Center is a beautiful historic part of Gainesville. It is beautiful year around and great for laying out and reading a book even having a picnic. If you are looking for beautiful outside places in Gainesville the Thomas Center is it !
