Beautiful Location and Building. Have catered many weddings here, and attended a few events. Very well run by Erica who handles special events.

I have bartended at the Thomas Center many times. The staff that are there during the event are extremely nice and courteous. Very good at their job. The Thomas Center set up is historic with balcony's above the main room, the long gallery is a great place for the buffet and bar set up. The porch outside perfect for cocktail... More

The Thomas Center is a historical landmark in Gainesville. It is also part of the walking tour of historical homes for third grade history in Alachua County. There is a docent that will teach the children about the home and it's vast history. Local art exhibits are displayed inside as well. The grounds are lovely. Many prom students come to... More

Some of the trouble of the place comes when you're trying to take photos inside the building, but for photos outside, this is a great place for all sorts of photographic adventures.

I live fairly close by so when I walk my dogs we usually walk through the gardens and lawn. A lovely large fountain is the centerpiece. Inside is beautiful as well and various events are held including art exhibits. At Christmas the tree-lighting ceremony is a family event. I feel blessed to have this property in my neighborhood.

I loved touring the Thomas Center, and especially like the "speaking" rooms that give you a history of the rooms. The grounds are very well kept and worthy of exploration. Plan at least a half day to take it all in!

Beautiful for weddings outdoors & reception indoors. No live fire or throwing rice or streamers on the grounds. Neighborhoods surrounding has small streets & looks a little shady at night but over all beautiful
