I remember coming here on a field trip with my class in 3rd grade. The admission back then was kind of cheap, but it was worth to go. Beautiful Butterflies swarmed the huge netted greenhouse. I had a few landing on my finger and shoulder. My teacher took various pictures that were worth to hang on our classroom wall. I... More

this is such a great experience. The main area that holds the butterflies holds so many species it is overwhelmingly beautiful. There are seats to sit on to just enjoy the view. bring your camera. The amount one pays to see this is so minima. a must do.

My daughter had a field trip here. We thought it was wonderful. It was a chilly day so the butterflies were not as active as usual. We saw many different types. This is a must see if in Gainesville area.

We go here almost weekly, love it! We bring all our out-of-town visitors here too. Anyone visiting Gainesville needs to see it.

This was a great place to visit. So many different types of butterflies to see. Our 3 & 4 year old boys enjoyed it. They wanted to hold them, but they couldn't. This is not a hands on butterfly exhibit. Would reccommend for the visit.

I have been to many areas that include a "Butterfield Exhibation" of some kind, and have rapidly walked through carefully on my way to more exciting sites. Never paid too much attention to these sites. Then after moving to Gainesville, my 91 year old mother expressed a desire to go to the Butterfly Rainforest here in the city we had... More

My little family & I went to the museum earlier this year. I've always wanted to see the butterfly rainforest because I love, love, love butterflies. It was well worth it. I took so many great pictures & my 3 year old loved seeing all the flowers and butterflies. We will definitely go back.

We visited this with another family and we all really enjoyed it. The price was very reasonable and after your visit, you can see where they have cocoons hatching. It is like stepping into a rain forest or tropical jungle. There are plants everywhere, it is humid, they have a waterfall and ponds throughout, and of course butterflies are everywhere.... More

We have been going to this place for quite a while. The whole family loves it. Makes a great place to stretch your legs if traveling down I75. Be sure to take an empty camera card, you'll be amazed at how many pics you will take. Be aware that they close if there is lightning in the area so if... More
