We were in Gainesville during the garden's plant show. Great vendors and plants for a very fair price. Great food area. Also walked around the different areas of the garden and were impressed with the plants and the created environment. Would go again if we get to Gainesville for a relaxing day with beautiful foliage.

We arrived on the weekend of the spring event, vendors were selling plants etc. Great time and really enjoyed the Herb Garden and the Labryinth.

What an amazing place. This is a time when I wished my head could have spun around 360. So many wonder and so many unusual plants! oh my the bamboo forest is enchanting! If you love nature and enjoy Mother natures showmanship in plants, you will absolutely enjoy your time spent here. I really appreciated the fact that they have... More

The gardens are delightful and the gift shop has something for every budget. I attended a meeting there and was amazed at how diverse the meeting rooms were, and how professional and competent the staff were at setting up the meeting space. A great find!

There was a nice variety of gardens here. It is kept more natural, which I liked. They have butterfly and hummingbird gardens planted as well as a palm area, bamboo gardens and water gardens.

We went in the winter so most of the plants were not in bloom or either cut back. But that did not distract from the simple and pleasant beauty of this place. There are plenty of paved walking paths as well as unpaved trails. Schedule a few hours to slowly enjoy the gardens. There is a nice little gift shop... More

We only had this week so we visited knowing the frost hit Wednesday. Many flowers survived and we did get to see the entire layout of the garden. Once section ( I recommend you see this side first; especially, if you bring children) contains the Children's Garden, Waterfall, Oriental Garden, Rose Garden, and Butterfly Garden. Hint: butterflies will not appear... More
