We had love this hidden gem and during time at U.F. We loved it and even visited it over last few years with our kids. If you are doing it now a days hit it on week day it is so over run. It is one of the most beautiful little river runs and springs to swim in. Sadly we... More

We recently visited with family (aged 12-87) for a fun day of tubing. We always have a great time here. You are not allowed to take water or snacks on the river (for obvious reasons) but there were some diabetics in our group, and we were allowed to take some snacks with us for them. There is one food vendor... More

It is not..... But still wonderful. Dear daughter is at college in Gainesville so hubby and I thought we would take her tubing. We both grew up tubing the river. We picked up our tubes from an outside vendor, Lowes, very helpful and so many tube types to choose. It was not a busy day so we were able to... More

We snorkeled the Ichetucknee Springs head water and the Blue Hole. Booth were very clean and well taken care of. The head spring this is the one close to the picnic tables was easy to get to and to find. Entrance to the water is fairly easy but dose get deep fast in some places and the main spring vent... More

Well laid out with tram service to get you back to your launch point from the parking area. Not expensive and very laid back trip down the river. The swimming areas are unique and we had a great time.

We thought we were being crafty by going through some back roads to get to the north entrance early. However, we were informed by the ranger, you have to line up at the crack of dawn to get in that entrance. I asked was there really 750 people already in the park to tube and she said, “There were 750... More

The water is chilly! The best hidden secret I've seen in Florida yet. The most beautiful water I have ever seen. Pack your grill, cooler and snacks for a day of adventure and fun!

Very pretty & lazy, relaxing ride down the river! Our family of 5 joined 3 friends & held our tubes together, which made the trip more fun, and it also slowed down our ride by about an hour. Yes, the water is very cold, but if you stay in your tube, it feels refreshing and it might actually feel too... More

This is a great state park, and I was really impressed how smoothly things operate. This park is centered around a trip down the Ichetucknee River, and there are thousands of people either trying to get to the river or transported back from it on park trams. In addition, you have private companies that rent the inner tubes and are... More

The river can be very relaxing if you can avoid the crowd. We choose days when the river is quiet and peaceful. The water is crystal clear, cool and refreshing. Lots of wildlife along the way.
