Look, I have lived in Florida: Miami and Orlando, and still do plenty of business here. And I have a family and we have done adventures across the country -- and this continues to be practically the TOP best experience and memory-maker for us. We just LOVE the peaceful, clean and semi-tropical experience of the float. Love, Love Love Ichetucknee... More

We stop in here once a year or so. whenever we are camping in the area. My husband and kids love swimming at the Blue Hole. One year I'll work up the courage to brave the cold water. It's beautiful and the amenities are great.

Springs are great to swim in - even on New Year's Day. Tubing in the summer is very busy, recommend weekday only.

The water is absolutely GORGEOUS! It is so serene and relaxing. You can either tube down the river or just swim. The river flows quickly enough to swim leisurely and not get too tired. I have been twice and can't wait to go again.

This park has so much to offer from picnicking, swimming, tubing, cycling, walking trails etc. They have an educational center that has a film and displays. The park rangers are all very helpful and informative. Check out the web site to see all that they offer.

We drove almost 4 hours from South Florida on a Saturday to the springs and it was well worth the drive. It gets packed and they only allow a limited amount of floaters on the full length and by time we got there the full float was filled to, however the mid way point which is about 45 min was... More

Tubing on the Ichnetucknee is one of my family's favorite things to do in Florida. So peaceful, beautiful and a good look at Florida's natural scenery.

I was told by Bill, who works for Itchetucknee tube center (#4 tubes) who rents inner tubes near the park, that there are 5000 visitors a day during the summer months. I chose to avoid that crowd and I went in October, which means there are no crowds!! By the way, you drop off your tube in an area labeled... More

You will love the pristine clear water of the Ichetucknee River and the beautiful springs that feed it. We love floating down on inner tubes, canoeing or kayaking as we relax and enjoy God's beautiful world. No food or drink is allowed on the river, but there are plenty of tables and grills at the South and North parks. We... More
